But in mid and upper bass its not an improvement, in upper bass there is a -5 db compared to original track, jbl did this so the bass can stand out and it can feel then bigger

@@HAIYANE9910 can't keep its overall bass at full volumes which these speakers are designed to. It is rather fluctuating not like the Tribit's which is consistent with each bass thump. It is only a bit deeper but. Punchy Deep > Fluctuating Deep.
The boom box 2 has a very similar sound to the tribit, just a tiny bit less bass. I have the tribit and compared it side by side with my friend's boom box 2. The tribit uses the same woofers as the boom box 2, I believe. However, personally, I prefer the tribit way of eq'ing the sound :)

Doesn't change the sound alot. So even if it has 5 bands EQ still i would not expect the EQ to change the sound alot. 3bands are totally find, it can costumise the amount of power by the 3 bands so it's find. But tribite is flexible. And yeah, the tribit uses Boombox 2 woofers, but slightly more wattage because it straight 90W compare to 80W plugged in

Sometimes that is just what's needed. Just ordered it for that reason. If it must fit in the bag and produce bass, then it is much more desirable product. Discounts are already happening! When I need big sound, I get partybox or PA rig. So... There is market for this.
It's actually good speaker. It's just the price thatbis absolutely Effed in the head. It has deep bass for its size, it is compact, mechanically resilient, long battery life. What's not to like about it? Well, for $220, not for $450.

Wow very nice, honestly the bass on the extreme 4 is a good improvement compared to the 3 by a bit in the low end

Can you hear that nasty high-pitched whistle on Tribit starting at 4:57? My Tribit has it too and it is very annoying.
It could be sbc problem, same with bass, sbc gives a bass an weird high pitched sound

The only bass it can go is 40hz, the Boombox 2 it goes upto 38hz.
