I have had my experiences with the hair sponge and I think the best method would be to only slightly damp your hair into moisture so.. shampooing and/or washing it would be a step that can be taken out of your process

When using the sponge don't go clockwise then anti-clockwise because the twists will unravel. You should only go clockwise but other than that great video man.

when I use the sponge it only do the sides but it doesn't do the front and I got thick hair
