- Pacific Rim Video's "That's So Hollywood" host Chris Trondsen talks exclusively to Filipina-Australian actress/singer/entertainer Anne Curtis after arriving at the Los Angeles International airport for her upcoming press events for her new film "Blood Ransom" to open in select US theatres on October 31, 2014.
The interview took place at the Tom Bradley Terminal in Los Angeles, on Sunday, October 26, 2014.

@@rcayala78 there are varieties of filipino accent and i could definitely tell that she somehow sound like filipino. I think what you're referring to is the strong accent of filipinos with no "V" and "F"
@joanie charlestone so what’s the problem if Anne sounds a little Filipino here?! She is gorgeous and she has all the right to sound whatever accent she should. And I was also referring to call center rep filipinos who were trying so hard to sound or speak like someone who was born and grew up here. It’s so annoying to hear.

Anne's accent weren't as prevalent in the Philippines because sometimes folks has a bit of trouble understanding her, especially with her Australian accent. Although she sometimes speak with slight Filipino accent as you do if you are surrounded with folks who has such accents. Lea Salonga does interviews with Filipino accent in the Philippines and when she does an international interview you can say that she drops the Filipino accent for the more westernize way of speaking english.

We actually trying to speak every country's accent.. But remember this, language is not our official language, so when anyone speak bad ,don't judge..
And in call center, we call that our avaya voice. Cause our accents change when were taking calls.

Iya villana's aussie accent is selective. Like she only applies it for certain words. Almost as if she doesn't have it anymore but tries to speak in it

Dang, further into the video, the accent does kick in a bit more. Her Tagalog and Australian accents do clash a tiny bit, but definitely can spot the Australian bits.
