What i noticed about glaze was whenever a move worked he shut it down the next time clowny tried to use it clowny has 20 moves he used them all up on Glaze and it was over after that Oline only gets better when they play you can not improve as a lineman on the bench you gotta experience the moves and counters and it's how you develop strength glaze has potential to be very powerful

yes he needs to just be in starting line up and start learning and improving, by playoff time he ready
I really do hope by next season whether through draft or trades we can get some actually real good people at the Oline. I'd like to think that Kolton as the season goes on will get back to his form. JPJ as we know is already doing his job out of the gate, Glaze will make to be a good RT as long as he can keep improving.
He's smart and has good technique. If he didn't have to help other linemen and actually got some starts under his belt, AND plays LG instead of RG, I think we'd see he was a great prospect. He's already better than our entire interior
Vintage Sanjit right here. Great vid! Super pumped watching this. We acquired solid pieces to our team. I agree, we need to keep building that OL ASAP!
Nice Sanjit! You're the only one that does these indepth break downs. Getsy is playing favorites. Whitehair is his guy, and it's obvious to everyone. He'll go down with that sinking ship because he vouched for him and doesnt want to be proven inept/wrong. He's not just a player - he's his friend. Anyway, my ideal OL starting lineup: LT Miller, LG Meredith, C JPJ, RG Parham, RT Glaze. Send Whitehair's as back to Chicago, along with Getsy. JPJ at center makes too much sense, especial when facing 3-4's. AP: have your players ready. Have them lay off the alcohol, no mondays off, zero dance offs/acting a foo during practices, and no late night partying/celebratin and we should have a nice bounce back week.
SANJIT! Hey man it’s great to see someone who knows what he’s talking about. A lot of the other podcast comments arr saying it’s Minshew fault. They don’t even watch film. Thanks!
Whitehair has to go. I'm not a Andre James fan, but I think Our best line-up is James, Johnson-Powers,Munford,Glaze,Miller. Bring Parham off the bench, send Whitehair to the UFL.
No doubt Whitehair is just awful. He like Getsy needs to get replaced. I do wonder if Jordan Meredith at RG or in rotation with Parnham at that position while JPJ fills Whitehair's spot at LG would be ideal. Andre James needs to step it up as well, he's not been playing center all too good since signing that contract.
Jackson powers needs to be our center Fr idc if we eat like 6 mill I’d rather put Jpj at center and put Andre James at guard if not cut at tha end of tha year and draft a big athletic guard
Amazing video Sanjit, as always thank you for your insight. I’m in full agreement, JPJ will be a force. If he can stay healthy, he looks like a perennial pro bowler!
that touchdown at the end where JPJ jumped in celebration with Tucker OMG we need more players like this starting! Seems like Dylan Laube is like that...makes me wonder why he wasn't starting earlier (unless it was injury). Give me 11 JPJ's on offense and we'll win!
this was an absolute embarrassment of a loss. “Jackson will play week 3”and i stood in front of my screen for 2 hours waiting to see him play a snap. the difference between Whitehair and Jackson is night and day. same thing with O’Connell and Minshew. Enough with trying to force the run game. what’s the use if we keep drawing up Curl routes and throwing 5 yards?
We need to address the line in the draft. Good tackles don't reach free agency. Teams lock them up. Older tackles with injury questions may, Then you are risking your season on a player with injuries. We need a tackle in the first round and a guard in the 2nd/3rd. Don't understand why they don't move T.Mumford to right guard, start Glaze ( no diddy ) to right tackle. Play JPJ at left guard and leave Miller at right tackle. Then go with power run plays 🤷🏾♂️
Munford is best suited playing as a tackle position, his work at LT is supposedly better than RT. If Kolton goes down or needs time to recover they'd probably stick Munford at LT. RG could have Meredith or keep Parnham there if need be.
James at center is OK if he can start improving, he's been inconsistent there this season. He's not terrible but he should be performing better too. Maybe stick Parnham at center and Meredith at RG imo.
Great breakdown. I like how JPJ suits up as if he’s playing center- left hand gloved and right hand taped. What OL are you eyeing in the 2025 NFL Draft? I’m watching Anthony Belton out NC State. I like his size and power, definitely would be the most physically imposing among Raider OL if he’s wearing the Silver & Black next season.
Gardy and AOC are NOT the problem folks. How the h3ll the brass put together this pathetic offensive line is beyond troubling. It absolutely boggles the mind. It's the worst in the league....and its not close. I wholeheartedly feel bad for our QBs.
@@CopenorMcbrokeleg I think they believed he'd be better, knowing Getsy's scheme and having experience at LG. I don't think it matters, as I think Getsy is absolutely AWFUL, but while I think Whitehair WAS solid in CHI, he's not handling LG as well as he did at C. James was AWFUL too, two years ago, but actually did better than expected last year. They said they want versatility, I saw try Whitehair back at C, James at LG and JPJ at RG. Why? James tied for 3rd in pass block efficiency for interior linemen last year. Maybe the idea of versatile linemen is too new, or maybe it won't ever work. Time will only tell, but CLEARLY Whitehair at LG isn't working out. I haven't had the time to see if he's spent time at RG at all, scheme-wise, I'd say prolly not, but his tape is so bad thus far, I'd bet he failed at RG too. Move him back to C and see what James can do at LG and JPJ can stiffen up the right side.
@@D1scard3d All good ideas, but it's musical chairs at this point and it does mean trying to get the guys to work the pass protection and run block down in Getsy's zone scheme properly. My hope is that they figure this shit sooner than later so that whoever is the starter RB can actually get more than a couple yards per attempt and the QB also gets enough protection and time to throw the ball downfield.
I think musical chairs is the role they want everyone to be able to do, and I'm all for it. They move defenders around to confuse defenses, it's "about" time the OL started doing the same. I am with you... hoping for the best... but I just simply have 0 faith in Getsy. He was supposed to be a "genius". Even geniuses who don't make it, at least see flashes of brilliance. We only saw complete failure in Chicago and even WORSE failure thus far from him in LV. That's a HUGE red flag to me because it shows he's over-hyped and those types of guys simply never last. At best, you'll get a year or two where their system shocks the NFL, but eventually you're always figured out. He hasn't dominated an entire game as an NFL OC, let alone a year or two. That was one of the biggest reasons I couldn't believe people looked at BOTH Fields and Getsy... like you KNOW one of them was THE problem there. Fields has looked better without being the 1st team rep guy than Getsy has at either team, which kinda shows who was the REAL problem there. I'm NOT surprised with Fields' improvements... but I WILL be surprised if Getsy gets us going. That all being said, I really hope I'm just wrong. I don't wanna watch us go 2-15.
Like how JPP was hustling to go get blocks down field after the ball was thrown. He was the only line man doing that.. granted he didn't play as much as the other guys but still love the hustle, get him in the starting line up!
Zues is 100% a rhythm back, no rhythm with terrible play calling, no rhythm with terrible blocking by O line... he would be a solid back on any other team
Sanjit, You kept asking why JPJ came in at RG, I heard somewhere that Parham hurt his foot during the game & that’s why JPJ came in. Not 100% sure that was the case, but that’s what I heard. Regardless, I think it’s obvious what the starting O-Line should be at this point : Kolton Miller - LT JPJ - LG Parham - C Meredith - RG DJ Glaze - RT Last year in the TNF blowout of the Chargers, Meredith was playing Guard & Parham was playing Center. Coincidence? I think not.
Damn I just realized I'm a sanjit video fiend all day at work checking if vides came out, when I get home I'm checking still lol. Love the film break down keep up the terrific work
When training camp was over I was shocked Minshue was named the starter. I didn’t get to watch camp but it feels like a Getsey GM decision. If they are even you develop the younger guy. Perhaps they knew the OL was going to struggle when Miller and Powers-Johnson missed most of camp.
Appreciate the film breakdown of JPJ!!! Got to see how truly bad Whitehair is and why we need to sit his ass down🤫 He's terrible nasty nasty work!!! Glaze has some upside. I would like to see him get more reps too!
JPJ is clearly our Best offensive lineman he has strength power and he looks smart like he knows what to do better than the other guys on the OL and he shows it with explosion
I’m sure Getsy wants Whitehair starting because he’s played in this scheme. But at the end of the day, they should put in the best 5 and do what you do best. (Pass) I think they should plug in Meredith and JPJ at G & Parham at C. That gives them the best possible interior O-Line combination as far as pass pro & having a good pocket to step up in. Kolton & DJ Glaze are going to get ragdolled & bullrushed on the outside every other pass play. That’s because their pass pro sets look like they’re hugging a long lost friend with both arms spread out wide exposing their chest, but as long as there is space to step up in the pocket & throw, there’s a chance. Minshew looks like he’s seeing ghosts out there. Not a good sign. Can’t blame him with Whitehair in his lap on almost every pass rep. As far as body language goes, O’Connell looked more comfortable in the pocket & more decisive on his throws. Although he should have had 2 INT’s from 2 really bad throws, but to me he looked more poised & decisive in the pocket & he obviously has a stronger arm than Minshew. Minshew had several plays where he started looking at the rush 2 seconds into his drop while he’s standing in a clean pocket instead of looking downfield at his receivers & that’s a recipe for disaster. My take is put in the best 3 interior O-Linemen to create a sturdy interior pocket and start Aiden. It gives them the best chance to win. But of course they’re going to keep playing Whitehair @ LG, James @ C & Minshew @ QB. We’ve already seen that movie for 12 quarters. It’s only worked 1 out of the 12 and our defense has paid the price for AP doubling down & repeating that mistake. New Flash: They’re NOT a run team. Not even close. Quit trying to force a square peg into a round hole & start players that can anchor against a bull rush. The run game won’t be decent until week 10 at the pace they’re going. By then it will be too late.
Absolute horrid "coaching". Vegas looks completely lost out there.. There's no structure whatsoever. Hish sci teams are far more cohesive than this monstrosity. Telesco has to step in and make some DRASTIC changes. He should know better than this.
Maybe since munford plays better on the left side as a tackle. The are going to put munford as left guard. That’s why they wanted to see how Johnson would do on the right side.
Maybe it’s the plan from the start to ease Jackson in. Maybe Jackson as shown much more up side as RG and they want to give him some success. If he is able to play RG then Parham replace white hair in on LG
It’s Go time Raiders …. Take it game by game. Win one challenge at a time. Also, we need to be aggressive & take more chances down field. We have all the weapons we need. Everyone needs to be accountable. AP is doing the right thing.
Yea, eventually. But we have to build the OL first. I think it's very easy to get 2 top OG in 2025 free agency but some GMs are tight asses and always wanna get a mediocre player for a budget
Center would be his best position, but I think he needs to go LG since it's obvious Whitehair is just terrible at LG. Right now we need JPJ to fill a hole in the position we're really struggling in for the Oline.
Here's pretty much a Getsy nepotism hire imo. There's no way they don't see his ineptness and let it slide unless Getsy personally is standing up for him. Either way both Getsy and Whitehair need to go.
He has a lot of hustle too. He's still very young but in some ways he reminds me of Steve Wisnieski. Steve was perhaps a little overzealous at times though. If he was your guard, you can bet your left n he was delivering punishment to the defender on top of his QB. Whitehair sounds like an old timer cliche. They used to say about OL'men, they need to run and hit people to gel. Is that the problem? He along with all the rest are being asked to drop back and defend exclusively versus the pass rush. Would Whitehair look better run blocking with a RB who can hit the hole? Maybe the Raiders need a FB instead of a new guard. I guarantee there are some unemployed FB's out there.
LG Aaron Banks is a free agent that we should target in free agency next off-season. He should be our no. 1 target. Or we can try and get Tevin Jenkins, he is familiar with getsys scheme. Even if we get a QB in 2025 draft, we need to move up into the late first so that we can get a RT. These mediocre lineman will never get us to where we want to go. JPJ was impressive for a rookie who hasn't really been training/playing. I like what I seen. Already looks better than every single one of our other offensive guards.
They are much better in pass then in run. But that doesn’t help in balance and is much tougher. We have too develop them and Getsy was only one that took the job. So go with what we got.
After looking at this tape I would take Glaze over Munford any day of the week. Also, WTH is the staff doing with Powers at RG instead of Parham. Parham is our best offensive lineman so far this year. I am not even a coach but it seems just from this film we have to start Glaze, Powers-Johnson, James, Miller, and Parham?! Why are they making these lame decisions when it's on TAPE?!
Notice the Raiders have been rebuilding since 2002? So many top draft picks and coaches did not work out. Setting back the Raiders for many years. The Raiders have one of the longest droughts in not winning the division. I was a young man the last time the Raiders won the Super Bowl; now, I'm an old man collecting Social Security. Commitment to Excellence is a gimmick.
Why do we as Raider fans hype up players that have done zero in the NFL? Let JPJ play and earn the respect of the fans like Bowers and other rookies! We need to be less hype and hold this organization accountable for the abysmal play for four decades and counting!

He's smart and has good technique. If he didn't have to help other linemen and actually got some starts under his belt, AND plays LG instead of RG, I think we'd see he was a great prospect. He's already better than our entire interior

These plays by Getsy are like Laurel and Hardy. Fields looking good in Pittsburgh. JPJ will have to overcome the coaching. Looks like a player.
Jpj should be the center
Yea, eventually. But we have to build the OL first. I think it's very easy to get 2 top OG in 2025 free agency but some GMs are tight asses and always wanna get a mediocre player for a budget
Center would be his best position, but I think he needs to go LG since it's obvious Whitehair is just terrible at LG. Right now we need JPJ to fill a hole in the position we're really struggling in for the Oline.
Good film bro! How do the coaches not see how bad whitehair is though??
Here's pretty much a Getsy nepotism hire imo. There's no way they don't see his ineptness and let it slide unless Getsy personally is standing up for him. Either way both Getsy and Whitehair need to go.
We need 2 more big guys on the interior. Parham is a Center only. Thinking James is going to the bench w Whitehair?
Minshew has happy feet even when he has time to throw he creates his own pressure at times
That Cody’s effort was embarrassing on that play he didn’t even try
Sanjit should be on tv
Our left side has problems but, all of our TE are missing blocks or failing to pass off blocks
#58 for an offensive lineman is weird to me but I guess they changed the rules over the last couple of years to allow them to do it.
Looks like JPJ is going to be a solid player.
Is it possible that they put parham back to left with miller like last year? And the JPJ at right guard which is his natural position?
Really want to know why pharam was benched he was the best guard so far
Is he a different scheme from whitehare or powers?
Sanjit, we still are in a playoff spot somehow😂
Parham and Powers Johnson need to be the guards.
Looks like Miller should of picked up the LB on that 2nd clip
Cody Whitehair is awful. And I also would rather play JPJ at center.
Colton needs to be set down Munford at Left tackle DJ at Right tackle
Man I’m bout tired of those type videos talking about who got potential 🤬 need to see that shit translate on the field on Sundays
I know everyone is excited about drafting Bowers, but just think if we had drafted Taliese Fuaga, Our Oline would be set.
but what about the guard problem
