its nice to find a video that shows what scooters are capable of :) now this is offroad.. Electric scooters will only get better and should be able to drive in this kind of terrain.
That’s the way! 😆 of course I wouldn’t recommend anyone testing their scooter like this, cos maybe I got lucky and it’s very well sealed. Perhaps others scooters won’t be that lucky 😅
Is it ok to wash in in the shower? Have you had any issue since? I'm asking because I wash my scooter the same way, to know if yours is still holding up 😬 Mine is a Ninebot F40 (rated IPX5).
Omg I am terrified to even take mine off-roading or even out on the pavement after it has rained lol! Iv only taken it out when it’s dry out! Am I being dramatic or sensible? Or can it withstand these conditions in your video? 🙂
Well.. it's not recommended to drive during rainy conditions and especially in puddles and mud like I just did, but this scooter can withstand quite harsh conditions I believe 👌😁
Light rain, or aftermath of rain should be fine so long as you don't do any puddles at all. The most important thing is to clean, and dry it properly afterwards.
I see a lot of people online talking about the wheels and punctures on this model. Have you had any issues so far? I'm really close to buying one for myself.
Just keep the pressure up and you won't have punctures, I weigh 80kg so I keep my scooter to 55psi rear and 50psi front and I pump my tires back to this psi every week so I don't get any punctures. 😗
It doesn’t have air in the tyres there solid rubber with holes through them plus they do this scooter called an aovo pro esmax with 18ah battery and duel suspension with 10” wheels.
I live in a country where the infrastructure is a bit poor (a third world country). Can I buy a scooter and walk on the streets with it, even if there is sometimes water due to rain or other things without problems?
I will film cleaning next time! It’s waterproof to some point, just avoid pouring water on the charger port. I normally just shower it with a jet stream from my bathroom shower 😃
@@TwoRedPassports I accidentally hit a dog poop and it kinda reached the charger port. I guess I'm gonna take a risk and rub it with wet foam or cloth :(

Rain can kill your top display board, by entering via power button hole. In rain, make sure to put a cover like bag or tape over that button. Dirt at the wheel bearings may affect them, but after long time, they are sealed and have grease inside. If you dry the scooter, then use a paintbrush to scrub the dust off the rear wheel bearings, should be fine. Front bearings are hard to reach. Lets compare to vacuum cleaner bearings, mine dies from dust in bearings after 10 years, vacuum is exposed to lots of fine dust. If that can survive 10 years, scooter will die from other cause, like weak battery. Real problem is if water enters battery compartment, it is sealed and wont get out. Battery is on top side, so it may fry the board once you turn the scooter on one side.
Hello, I am also looking into buying a scooter as I live in Copenhagen too. Can I drive this around in the winter when its raining or do you think it isn't rated for the rain?
