- Ubisoft just revealed the DLC roadmap for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and thanks to some snooping done by a fan, Braylon Moore, it seems they revealed the identity of the second DLC's villain.

I never stopped to think about that.
I always assumed the beheaded statue was Edge, and that she changed her clothes and assigned weapon for the sake of rebellion.
But looking at this new villain, I find your theory to be much more likely! Can’t wait to see this adorable demon in action!
But Edge literally tells you in the game that she used to be the leader of the spark hunters.

@minetendo33 hi post dlc release comment. kanya *was also* made leader of the spark hunters after edge rebelled. they served as edge's replacement.
At first I thought the statue depicted Edge before she rebelled against cursa and that she must've changed her look and weapon of choice completely

I want to say this is possibly a newer version of edge. Perhaps this is a form created of edge after she ran away, one without a sense of cursa’s intentions. I could be looking too deep into it, but I’d say that was the only thing I saw as potential. I guess we’ll wait and see
It could possibly be the older version of edge, like a failed creation who was too unstable for even Cursa to have control over

Maybe the dlc will explain how cursa found the spark hunters in this new planet, maybe like a flashback about Edge’s and the others members past, I feel like they didn’t serve much of a purpose in the main game, so maybe it is time to explain things in this future dlc

well thats possible considering the poster is showing edge, surprised nobody even realized that the DLC character is actually Edge, we know Edge was a spark hunter and considering there's only 4 statues its likely the broken one is Edge and either Edge broke it when she left or Cursa broke it

@@xxmension04xx47She looks too bulky for Edge and she has more teeth, as well as red strands of hair, not green. Edge also fights with a sword and not with a morning star. On top of this, this is a new foe, not an old one. I believe this is Edge's older sister, who was the original spark hunter until Edge replaced her.

On top of this there is a journal entry talking about the broken statue as well hinting that it may be more important than just a scenery element

By the time of this message, we just got a teaser for DLC called "The Last Spark Hunter" meaning she was the statue with the other Spark Hunters

It would be a real plot Twist if Yoshi and Rabbid Yoshi came back for the Second or Third DLC.

Wait... could the new DLC villain be Edge's younger sister? Like, Edge could have a younger sister, but she decided to keep it a secret for some mysterious reason.
I know it doesn't make a lot of sense, I just thought of it when I saw the image.
Personally, I would LOVE if they added the Mad Scientist Rabbid from the shows as a general in one of the DLC’s. And also have that rabbid with the glasses be in it too, and the bearded one as a hero. EDIT: Thanks to whoever liked it.
This game did have some flaws, but the passive storytelling in the game was by far my favorite aspect of it, this being an example of that.
Additionally the scenes where midnite/edge interact with one another (especially the last one after you beat her). No words spoken, but everything is laid out for the player. Perfection! I just wish the spark hunters actually had more character development/relevance instead of just existing to be a boss, but maybe dlc 2 will expand on that.
This new Rabbid *has* to be the one depicted in the destroyed statue. The statue and the new villain’s dress line up way too well to be *just* a coincidence.

The resemblance makes the most sense. You know the pointy eyelashes, the spikey hair and fangs or sharp teeth.
No, she's Spark Hunter number 5, not 4. The fourth one is Edge.

@@xxmension04xx47 Yeah I don't know what this guy is thinking the statue we see in "deep dark secret" is a broken statue of Edge when she was evil, but they clearly wanted to keep the face a secret because of the second DLC.
they actually had a memory for the statue in the game 🎮 so this person is not the first source of info for this new villian

Ubisoft really went hard with the female Rabbids this time around. Rabbid Rosalina, Edge, the four (I think it's four haven't played it yet) Rabbid enemies, and of course Rabbid Peach taking up the spotlight as usual. It makes you wonder if Ubisoft has a weird Rabbid girl obsession if you catch my drift lol

1. Initially does a circle area attack in her windup

I believe she is the older sister of Edge. She looks like her with the teeths and she has parts of her hair colored in red, with Edge having some green color on her hair. This might be a reffernece to the color scheme of Mario and Luigi. The older brother has Red hair and the younger Green. This would make Edge the Luigi to this characters Mario! How cool would that be?

My theory was that they were sisters or cursa created a replica of edge right before cursa was defeated and like command her to like kidnap edge or something and bring her to cursa ( who would be in a much weaker form) and use this as a way to bring Mario and the gang to her new stronghold and get revenge. I hope that sounded good…😂
And the other reason cursa would try to kidnap Edge would be..well it sounds really dumb, weird, and probably to deep but cursa promised Edge’s sister that she would become the new leader of the spark hunters if she took Edge and brought her to cursa. Then cursa would take the “EDGE” she apparently gave to Edge and give it to edge’s sister but the hole thing is basically Mario and the gang trying to stop that from happening.
This would make sense. Because people thinks also the mysterious statue could be edge before she leaved

Edge was not mentioned that Spark Hunter when she says her backstory. Maybe, that Spark Hunter was created by Cursa after Edge leaves from Spark Hunters and she replace Edge (as leader of Spark Hunter).

I've been reading the comments, lots of people are saying the villain is either a replacement for edge or edge's sister...yet nobody is bothering to figure out that there's not 5 statues
There are not 5 statues because Edge is in the middle, her darkmess clone. All the statues are the spark hunters that are close to Edge's heart with her being in the middle. Also Edge is too skinny for this rabbid and her fighting style isn't this rough.

@@mariajimenafigueroa233 ever since odyssey their mario games didnt feel like real games, they just felt like references were the only thing holding it together. Like I would almost compare it to the 3rd spongebob movie, the movie was garbage but it was freaking packed full of references to all the good episodes that nickalodeon has never once cared about.
@@moon-littears7034 Not to mention, the Super Crown OCs are infamous being for 99% $ex icons and Mario is designed to be family-friendly, so it woulden't make scene for the Super Crown OCs to become canon. But then again, when Sonic reference Sanic (a poorly-drawn version of him) as a T-shirt in Forces and cameos in his movies, everyone complains. But when Mario does that with Rabbids "inspired" by $exu@lized versions of it's characters, everyone praises. I really hope his upcoming movie dosen't reference any of those trashy fan-characters.
