I was asleep on the couch with the tele on…happened to be on Late Night with Seth and this song literally woke me up. His voice is striking, what a gorgeous song!🔥🔥🔥
One thing missing is the fuzz pedal for Ruston’s guitar at the outro. But nice emo, post-rock shift anyway. This can bring me more attention to you than ever since I’m a fan of Kacey ☺️👍🏼

Never ceases to amaze me that people comment negative posts. What's wrong with you? What good is this doing? The guy is putting music out there that a lot of people love. Find a mirror and ask yourself some tough questions. Take care
@@picasso4680 my comment was polite. I'm an advocate for songcraft. If we all keep accepting such superficial music composition, complex arrangements will be a lost art ♡
@@refrain1513 i do agree with you. We're on the same page. Dylan was pretty simple structure wise in the beginning as well. I'm not comparing the two. Please don't find out that Ruston uses alternate tunings also haha. I was simply commenting on the fact that you took time to post a negative comment. Complex doesn't always push art or songwriting forward. There's more to it than that. That's all I'm saying. I think doing more with less is actually a talent. We can't all be beholden to the classic song structure, nothing would be innovating.

Weird, the same exact thing happened to me and I'm obsessed now.
Love this guy so much. I've seen him live twice and he's an amazing performer, composer, songwriter.
I fell in love with this on Late night with Seth Myers’s. such a beautiful song!
I haven't stopped listening to the song since it's release
Late 90s 00s vibes 💕👍
Somehow better than the recording. The king of the crows never disappoints.
he's so talented i'm obsessed.
Absolutely slayed this performance!!!!!
Who knew alt country could be so emo. He’s created a genre all his own.
Dirt Emo forever
Y’allternative
This was country! More please.
..... Y'all. Lol
Dirt emo
I’ve seen him twice in Seattle. Going again because the guy puts on an amazing show. Kills it. Check him out if he’s coming to your town
Looking forward to the album and the tour. Consistently great experiences in the past with both.
obsessed with Ruston.
Sounds great! Love Ruston Kelly and love this song! 🖤
Just discovered/saw him live last week because a friend of mine bought me a ticket. I heard this song and became a huge fan.
his voice is just 🌧😌
Already loved this song. Great to see it making its way further out into the world. Nicely done all.
Saw him at the ryman twice!! He’s awesome!! 👏
PERFECTION
Saw this guy in Portland a couple of nights ago and he is stunning

so underrated.
Nice🎸
this is better than most acts on late night shows. what genre is this?
He’s country but alternative as well. HIGHLY recommend dying star & shape and destroy. He’s a phenomenal singer songwriter.
@@ncdogdude He considers himself Dirt Emo. He IS phenomenal, you're right.
Dirt emo
@@Preston79 Right> I knew hes called himself that before but I didnt know if those unfamiliar with him would get the reference haha.
@@ncdogdude haha fair play. I'm too sensitive...hence why I listen to dirt emo :)
great performance. crushed it!
Ruston is the best!!!!
Nashville is lit. Stay home, y’all
R Kelly
He’s back!
The New R. KELLY is dope
I must have failed music theory because I cannot figure out these chords...
Rusty killed it per norm... Also, when did Seth start looking like George Hamilton's long lost son??!
My go to when I need to deal with my drug addict father.
Sounds like mgk

Three chords, no bridge, no thanks.

3 chords and the truth

@@treyredd that's catharsis/poetry, not music.

Zero talent from a wide audience view. He will be not here in a year. Let’s go Mets.
Cute Panda Eric.
what's funny is the Mets haven't won a World Series since 2 years before this guy was even born. Mid since 1986
Hopeful for the Mets . But nah. Either way this guy sucks
Funny you say that because this year Ruston will have released his 4th album in 6 years. I don’t think he’s going anywhere buddy
He's headlined 3 sold out shows at the Ryman Auditorium so I think maybe you're about 3 years late to be wrong with this comment.
My morning jacket met Pavement, but instead of heroin it was Starbucks and daily vitamins?
I mean the dudes sober, people get sober for a reason. Prob a lot of references in this song. But yeah man, Starbucks and vitamins.
