This format is what paintball needs to survive.
This is what paintball was always supposed to be. Look at all these moves, all the action, the lack of 'laning'.....it's what we had for a few short years before technology swamped our sport. This warms my heart, I hope to play next year in this event, with my automag.
This is why I'm slowly transitioning from a e marker player to a vintage mech set up it's more fun
@@Floodbait_117 Right? I remember back in the "old days" we didn't know how good we had it. Hopefully more people will realize this reality and it will change the way the game is played for good. It's also way more fun for beginners to come on the field when everyone has a mechanical marker, and the game takes skill to win.

shit i loved this, seeing rocky and lasoya and all these guys i looked up to and played against..it's crazy..kind of sad, missed this type of paintball..need dave youngblood, bob long, etc. awesome...rich telford is a silverback now? damn

@SoyySauce The getting lit up close or the referee practicing his CQC barrel deflection skills? Honestly the ref should have let them battle it out, even though its close range, if you run into that and don't run away... for both people its all good. Just don't go chasing nobody at like 10 feet as they run... its surrender or die at the places I go, once somebody says surrender or die you either surrender, retreat or paint each other up. If you run you get lit.
No bullshit though, I would rip the refs mask off, throw it far, then beat his face then once im done I have my paintball marker back, if he comes at me he getting his fucking face lit up. Fuck if he goes blind, should have considered the risks of fucking with somebody. If I see a ref do that to somebody same deal, im beating the fuck out of them then wish they retaliated against self defense. You don't touch peoples markers, gear or bodies. ass fucks

Allowing modern electronic markers capped at low bps is stupid. Completely ruins the whole 'mech' theme and kills nostalgia.
I see what you mean, but to remove any and all players who only have electronic markers would mean forcing out enthusiastic paintballers who just want to partake in the fun without any advantage.
@Richard HART Il have to watch the vid a 3rd time. I never saw a mag at all, truly a shame. I still use mine and am hanging with the electros.
