These videos do something amazing other than the artistic beauty of the finished product, they show that we're all the same. They show that we all share a common human experience....I believe these videos are breaking down walls and that they are also historical documents that will be watched thousands of years from now for a glimpse into how they ate and interacted in the 21st century.

It's not really a bamboo, although it's commonly called "water bamboo" as its texture is like bamboo but it grows in water. It's actually wild rice stem, which isn't really rice either, just a type of water grass. We eat mostly rice noodles in the Southern China, which are obviously gluten-free.
