There maybe others not fortunate to have the internet. I know my grandmother was one of those precious women and she had 9 children all born in the forest and she lived to 100 yrs old and could have lived longer but she did not want to, she felt she had enough, left many great great great children.
And I was her first grandchild. I lived with her and I did learn a lot. I still garden and sew my own clothes. However, I had a bank job and only 2 girls.

So I read an article about her, her parents divorced when she was very young, then she went to live with her grandparents in the rural area. When she grow up, she tried various job at the city.. once upon a time, she got a call that her grandma was sick so she left everything and cameback to hometown to take care of her nana. She was inspired by her brother who uploads singing videos on Meipai (Chinese social media) and thinking that she could do one of that too. I am from Greece, I cannot recognise most of the ingredients she uses. But being from a mountain village near the Thessalian plains, I can totally relate to her videos. They are strangely familiar to me. There is such a joy in every single season, the different produce, the different dishes and various traditions. It is a blessing to live in a place where you can have your fresh produce all year long, pick fruits and veggies from your garden, eat the produce from the farmland you own, pick herbs from the mountain, your tap water being cold spring water, exchanging eggs for goat milk with your neighbour and so on and so on. I just watched another youtube video saying Grandma supported Ziqi's vlog work with her pension payment after Ziqi moved back from city to the village to take care of her. Ziqi took care of most farming work but had no saving to take off the shooting. So I read an article about her, her parents divorced when she was very young, then she went to live with her grandparents in the rural area. When she grow up, she tried various job at the city.. once upon a time, she got a call that her grandma was sick so she left everything and cameback to hometown to take care of her nana. She was inspired by her brother who uploads singing videos on Meipai (Chinese social media) and thinking that she could do one of that too. Over the years through trials and errors she was able to build her channel.
After learning this about her, I was really impressed. All i can say is, she is truly a hard working person and never leaves her family. We all should be inspired!!
Ps: All that woodworking and cooking skill she learned from her grandpa. Apart from this channel, I heard that she is also a bussineess woman 😍

I am from Greece, I cannot recognise most of the ingredients she uses. But being from a mountain village near the Thessalian plains, I can totally relate to her videos. They are strangely familiar to me. There is such a joy in every single season, the different produce, the different dishes and various traditions. It is a blessing to live in a place where you can have your fresh produce all year long, pick fruits and veggies from your garden, eat the produce from the farmland you own, pick herbs from the mountain, your tap water being cold spring water, exchanging eggs for goat milk with your neighbour and so on and so on. Anyway, the videos are so aesthetically pleasing, well done Liziqi!!

She is my fav UA-camr, a very independent and strong lady, she was abused as a child by stepmother, went to live with her grandparents afterward, quit school bcuz of poority, made her own way in big cities, she did many things and went through a lot, the reason why she sings so well is bcuz when she was trying to make a living, she was told being DJ can make a lot of money so she learned music and video editing etc. and bcuz of what she has went through, her videos kept the original style, she didnt abandon her lifestyle after become famous, she had total peace in mind, pure heart too.

I just watched another youtube video saying Grandma supported Ziqi's vlog work with her pension payment after Ziqi moved back from city to the village to take care of her. Ziqi took care of most farming work but had no saving to take off the shooting. Grand parents also raised her after her parents passed away when she was 6.. or maybe 10 (I don't know for sure, but very young). So it is so moving to see them taking care of each other.
When she adds singing to her bag of skills you know she's no longer a jack of all trades but a queen of everything

It was purposelly ironic, to remark tha fact that what's in the video is too good for us audience and gave us deep feelings, for example feelings of nostalgia for her home, even if we have never seen it because throught her we learned to love her lands, her culture, and those kind of simple, ancient things we lost long time ago. It was a way, not too serious, to admit how much we fell (in love) for her videos.
And yes, the point of being online should be learning and not to waste time, because it's so interesting and soothing to know how beautifully different we are, and how much we are similar, deep down.
