My mother (my kids grandmother) is a brazen ball buster who makes it very hard for you to want to do anything loving and caring for her. It’s sad but there is a difference. If my mother was like this little lady I’d want to spend a lot more time with her.
DoeEyedFaun I feel you. My grandma was living with my parents for a few years and she was so mean! She practically tortured my mom with sneaky mental games and would tell lies about her to my dad (her perfect son, gag!). My mom couldn't take it anymore. She really tried her best to make my grandma comfortable in her house, but no matter what she did, my grandma was so horrible to her. It's really sad. She is in an assisted living home now since she can't walk anymore, but she still blames being there on my mom! Unless you've experienced something like that it's really hard to understand. But not all Granny's are sweet and peaceful in their old age!
@@sophievanderbilt1325 I am fortunate to have a good relationship with my grandfather but he is very difficult to work with sometimes. My mom has had to deal with the majority of this. He now lives in a very nice senior apartment complex and all of his meals and housekeeping are taken care of. He wouldn't listen to us about doing things that were dangerous and it was incredibly stressful. The only reason he lives where he does now is because he broke his hip. Having him somewhere safer than his house and with 24/7 help available has been the best decision for my mom. We visit frequently, at least once a week each and on different days. He has a lot of friends at the new apartment too and has been a lot happier and healthier. Since he moved my mom has been a lot happier too.

Most of the shots are still shots, with a tripod, in fact, the shots that don't use a tripod are usually really shaky and you can tell she just got a random person to do the shooting for her. I could see one person shooting these videos themselves, it would just be really difficult.

I love the pureness that it projects but at the same time I think it's a lot more involved in the time it takes to get the shots of different seasons and the growing process of the Ginger alone took months and a lot of planning and editing had to have went into this and it's not completely accurate. 40years ago that happened everynight in my home. I shared foot bath with my grandma or mum or sister... in 1970's china was so poor, mostly we might bath once a months,but wash face and foot everyday.

Most of the shots are still shots, with a tripod, in fact, the shots that don't use a tripod are usually really shaky and you can tell she just got a random person to do the shooting for her. I could see one person shooting these videos themselves, it would just be really difficult.

I love the pureness that it projects but at the same time I think it's a lot more involved in the time it takes to get the shots of different seasons and the growing process of the Ginger alone took months and a lot of planning and editing had to have went into this and it's not completely accurate. She is dressed warm but the lime tree or whatever fruit she picked can't grow in the cold and I had noticed some kind of a flower that makes me feel that in order for some things in the video to be of a questionable nature, that someone might record a lot of her life throughout the year and edits different parts to make a video of this style. Regardless of what it may be, it takes a lot of recording and planning and deciding what recordings to piece together to make a particular meal.

Her sharing the foot bath with her grandma brought tears to my eyes. So heartwarming and pure.
40years ago that happened everynight in my home. I shared foot bath with my grandma or mum or sister... in 1970's china was so poor, mostly we might bath once a months,but wash face and foot everyday.
