I have a theory on the origin of this lift... please hear me out. The first Doppelmayr triple chairlifts [In Canada] were constructed in 1973 at Snoasis near Regina, Saskatchewan. Both lifts were removed in 1978, and had bottom tension with top monopod drives. One ended up at Blackstrap in Saskatchewan. The other chair was sold to an unknown mountain. It seems like the statistics for the south chair line up well with the triples at Snoasis.

Sounds plausible. Also explains why the lift isn't on any construction surveys.
