4:42 man i would love all those machinist tools and inspection equipment but I'm not paying his price. the end mills that he was saying were 50 bucks, once they are used, they lose 90 percent their value to the end user, but a shop with a tooling guy can sharpen them back up and make them like new.
That's a micrometer table for an optical comparator. Image of the machined part is projected on a screen and the technician can measure the dimensions in the enlarged image.
End mills not in the original box and sharp, are worth pennies on the dollar... 9:20 - That's an economizer for a RTU, looks like Bryant/Carrier very model specific...
I myself don't like that feeling, I want to pay $10.00 and he wants to sell for $100.00, Guess that's business as it goes. Very nice video Pete & Adrian.
Seems like you got a whole lot of stuff for 500 - but i wouldn't know where to start with all those specialist tools! Love the old lock. Good Luck with it all
Thanks for the video! Good luck with everything. I hope you do well with this pick. I could see you having your own reality show. I would definitely watch it. But I know you probably like keeping it real. Most reality shows are so staged they're not "reality". Best wishes! -Steven
I enjoyed the video very nice pic you went on. the guy selling it to you was a butthead, but the dog was cool I like dogs and you impress me because you should have an interest in the dog and anybody that school dogs has got to be a good person. thank you for all these videos they're very informative and I really enjoy him as well as many other people I'm sure really digging on your videos
This guy talked WAYYY too much ! He knew they were coming should of had prices in mind to give them . Too much personal stuff. Business is business . Seems like he just wanted some friends AND seems a little like a hoarder. When he wiped his hands on his clothes after touching the rancid chicken parts 😱ewww . . .
most buyer would not want to pay more than 50% for an item that they can find brand new if it unique. if a tool retails for $100, i could probably only sell a second one for around $50 so i will only pay that dude not more than $20 if i plan to double it.
buying from other "pickers" sucks, if someone told me they are a "picker" or "reseller" I would not even waste my time going over there if Im planning on buying something to make money on. they will just try to pass off the crap they can't sell onto you and they are not very willing to negotiate on prices because they have already looked up what "it's going for on eBay" total waste of time.
Watched all but 15 minutes of this video & before I can go on to view the rest, I just NEED to know the name of that song? Anyone??? PLEASE & THANKS!!!
That was tough I'm sorry. Walking into a pick where the guy says "Not everything is for sale" basically means he's going to let you only take the crap he wants to get rid of, but the good stuff is off limits. Annoying.
That's stupid logic. That's like you telling me it's annoying that I wont sell my personal TV because it's in that area. It's called his property that he uses and enjoys dumb ass.
you'll definitely get double on your investment specially on tools, iam sure if you do your homework on that fireman's hat specially if you go to a antique expert you'll get a good return on that fireman's hat.
I agree maybe not quite a (D) but does he have to be so cranky pants? Bring everyone else down? You're way more tolerant than I am Pete and everyone says I am an angel. I worked with middle schoolers.
Adrian looks like hes seen some shit lol. Like he was in the Mob back in the day. After years of blood shed in eastern Europe. He decided to settle down as a peaceful man in the U.S. as a reseller.
Man, it's like going to a garage sale and they have papers with the presale quotes on everything. I saw on eBay that would can get x for it. I would've bolted.
Everyone wants top dollar for their product. You can't blame people that are hustling. Look at what resellers do. It's funny... Every reseller channel has resellers bitching and complaining about high prices, but then they want those items cheap so THEY can charge the high prices, lol. "It's only fair if I'M gouging people!" lol. People that look up prices on ebay are SMART, and don't want to give their stuff away.... and the truth is, reseller UA-cam channels like this very one you are watching are the ones informing people to do that. These channels are the very ones that killed the "easy" reselling profits.
Nunofyour beesiness depends on what you are selling. Ive sold video games and vinyl lps for MORE than the average going rate on Ebay or Amazon locally, simply because the buyers wanted the items i had that very day. Its called getting off your ass and selling, period! Ebay/Amazon arent the only places to make good money. If you think thats the case , you are SORELY mistaken! I piss off resellers all the time by being priced too high for them. Fuck them! Im there to make all of the profit. Not you, lol. If I have to hold on to items a little longer, oh well. I don't give my shit away. EVER. Local or online. Never price your shit so low that a reseller can make money off of it. If you are doing that, you are doing it wrong!
Endmills are tricky certain ones sell good and others dont. Have to be brand name and not reground. If they a regrinds they are like 5 each and thats on big endmills. And the machinist tools will make lots of money if they are brand name.
People like this kill me. Buy a bunch of treasures and have no idea how to sell it. Just want to keep buying shit. Just quit the business your wife will leave you for being a hoarder
I like the "Good cop, Bad Cop" approach to picking. Thanks for sharing.

Cool Pete. Thanks for taking us along with you! I like that guy you did business with because he seemed pretty up front and agreeable.
That's a micrometer table for an optical comparator. Image of the machined part is projected on a screen and the technician can measure the dimensions in the enlarged image.

Nice vid Pete! You guys need to do more like this.
Adrian was all business until he could stop and watch the ducks..lol.. nice pick
Wow, what a pick! It felt like I was watching American pickers.
That was a score on the machinist parts. I have a bunch of that stuff on eBay right now, it goes for big bucks.
Nice pick.. lots of interesting goodies. I'm wondering how much you will get for the gauge blocks. Did you get any Calipers or Micrometers ?
This feels so realistic ....!! I m like right there looking at items ..Thanxs Pete ...good job filming as always !!!..(:
Adrian looks delighted :-)
Love this video. Great to see where you get some of your stuff.
Love Adrain, he's me at a sale. Milo's your QA person. Nice farm-- looks like home minus the cattle and hogs.
End mills not in the original box and sharp, are worth pennies on the dollar... 9:20 - That's an economizer for a RTU, looks like Bryant/Carrier very model specific...

Do you do well with the old spitoons? I pass on them by the hundreds. May could hook you up if you want more.
Hey Pete. That Nikon platform is a table for precision photography. Here is a link that shows it.

Thanks man I do appreciate the link. Thanks for watching. Cheers !!
Great video to watch while having dinner, thanks! :)
The Cubs sign is the best. Fun, informative video.
What's with the expired chicken? Does he have a hog farm or something?
Seems like you got a whole lot of stuff for 500 - but i wouldn't know where to start with all those specialist tools! Love the old lock. Good Luck with it all
What was the deal with the expired poultry? Was he turning it into fish chum?
probably Chicken Nuggets for McDonalds :-D
Oooh! LOL
I like the seller, great guy
Nice guy, cool stuff. 👍
Whoa Adrian coming along for a pick up. I like it.
Thanks for the video! Good luck with everything. I hope you do well with this pick. I could see you having your own reality show. I would definitely watch it. But I know you probably like keeping it real. Most reality shows are so staged they're not "reality". Best wishes! -Steven
The Nikon piece looks like part of a microscope.
Good luck guys, you'll get them sold.
Thanks for sharing!!
What was on all the pallets in that one room?
I enjoyed the video very nice pic you went on. the guy selling it to you was a butthead, but the dog was cool I like dogs and you impress me because you should have an interest in the dog and anybody that school dogs has got to be a good person. thank you for all these videos they're very informative and I really enjoy him as well as many other people I'm sure really digging on your videos
Yay! a new video, lets go!!!!
This guy talked WAYYY too much ! He knew they were coming should of had prices in mind to give them . Too much personal stuff. Business is business . Seems like he just wanted some friends AND seems a little like a hoarder. When he wiped his hands on his clothes after touching the rancid chicken parts 😱ewww . . .
Awesome video once again! :D
Hey Pete if you need to know what any of the machinist stuff is I can tell you.
most buyer would not want to pay more than 50% for an item that they can find brand new if it unique.
if a tool retails for $100, i could probably only sell a second one for around $50 so i will only pay that dude not more than $20 if i plan to double it.
A lot of people think that there junk is worth millions, they remember what they paid for it and it hurts to sell the stuff cheap.
Nice score, Pete!
Cool👍👍
Cool respect man thanks !
I don't know why people don't sell the stuff on craigslist
buying from other "pickers" sucks, if someone told me they are a "picker" or "reseller" I would not even waste my time going over there if Im planning on buying something to make money on. they will just try to pass off the crap they can't sell onto you and they are not very willing to negotiate on prices because they have already looked up what "it's going for on eBay" total waste of time.
I miss milo, you will never find a kitty like that, sad
that chair is unique
Watched all but 15 minutes of this video & before I can go on to view the rest, I just NEED to know the name of that song? Anyone??? PLEASE & THANKS!!!
It's in my description. Thanks for watching. Cheers!!
Craigslist Hunter - Very much appreciated, Sir. From beautiful Toronto-Ontario, Canada, a great weekend to you both. Cheers!!! ✌🏼️
That wasn't the case here - Pete and Adrian walked out of there with tons of great stuff. The seller's prices were very cheap as well.
@12:48 calculate it good Adrian..Make sure there is enough meat on the bone...
Nice picking!
The ducks were cool!
Like the psychedelic chair.
Your getting this guys sloppy thirds or fourths. Kudos to you if you can resell his stuff :)
Is Adrian an employee or business partner?
At 35 seconds I predict he won't want to sell . Or want too much
Pete, your brother is badass.
That guy would have taken 400.00 for everything
memories.
This Adrian dude reminds me of Dirty Harry.
you'll definitely get double on your investment specially on tools, iam sure if you do your homework on that fireman's hat specially if you go to a antique expert you'll get a good return on that fireman's hat.

Yeah the machinist stuff is a great find. You dont find stuff like that.
Adrian looks like hes seen some shit lol. Like he was in the Mob back in the day. After years of blood shed in eastern Europe. He decided to settle down as a peaceful man in the U.S. as a reseller.
For all of the tools it's worth 2,000 dollars for all of it
Lucky to get you money back on that junk
Man, it's like going to a garage sale and they have papers with the presale quotes on everything. I saw on eBay that would can get x for it. I would've bolted.
I always why they don't sell it themselves,if it's worth so much on ebay.....
Everyone wants top dollar for their product. You can't blame people that are hustling. Look at what resellers do. It's funny... Again,Its not worth ebay prices unless your willing to get off your ass and sell it on ebay.
Nunofyour beesiness depends on what you are selling. Never price your shit so low that a reseller can make money off of it. If you are doing that, you are doing it wrong!
Ya sure you have......
Nice pick.
*sees something actually good*
Not for sale
I don't know what it's worth but it's a lot!!
This guy is a hoarder and he truly does not want to sell his stuff. What a waste of time for picking
And yet he sold them a bunch of stuff, so....
Probably makes lenses NIKON
That's 3,000 too four thousand dollars' for everything
I'm not seeing much of a return on investment. Maybe 10 percent?
They will get profit just off the end mills. The rest is just bonus.
Endmills are tricky certain ones sell good and others dont. Have to be brand name and not reground. If they a regrinds they are like 5 each and thats on big endmills. And the machinist tools will make lots of money if they are brand name.
LycomingWarrior all that for 500 they did good that's 1500 all day
LycomingWarrior Lol What planet are you living on
Gold mine...
Adrian so relaxed, is he on xanax. Jk
People like this kill me. Buy a bunch of treasures and have no idea how to sell it. Just want to keep buying shit. Just quit the business your wife will leave you for being a hoarder
wow, these worse than watching American Picker with this seller guy.
Do more dumpster diving videos.
Love you Pete.
Pete, I wouldn’t give this guy a dollar! He’s so annoying.
