That topic about Jess getting advice from someone “not qualified” was complete trash & contradicting. She gives “advice” & clearly isn’t qualified on majority of the topics. Plus we were all kids at one point, so I think that makes us all qualified from that perspective because we would know how it felt or didn’t feel to have a parent/guardian push us or not push in a sport or another interest. They clearly ain’t have nothing prepared to talk about for a Monday.
Ppl call in and ask for advice tho so maybe look at tht as the difference and even tho we were kids at one point doesn't give us the right to force our opinions on a person...tht being said i can't stand the "jess fix my mess" segment them ppl need to go chat to professionals😂😂😂

I'm 54yr old black man, and I've been a trainer for over 30yrs BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 Jess if your son doesn't want to play sports anymore that's perfectly fine, and you're doing the right thing BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 But we don't only put our kids in sports only because that's the only way to make it out BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 It's also to help them to socialize, and to learn a good work ethic BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 To also learn how to work with others BIG DOGGIE 💯👣 Not only to deal with success, but also deal with the downs of life BIG DOGGIE 💯👣

People looking in are always critiquing parenting, cooking, relationships regardless whether they actually have the ability to provide positive advice most people just want to critique. That is a human trait. How many times do you find yourself in a public setting and you see someone who has an outfit that is put together terribly and in your mind you can visually see the fix. That would be a silent critique or even being out in public we all experience hearing kids you want to personally slap for the mother. There are plenty of people who try to give me input on my parenting and what I should or should not do and I simply do what I feel is best and let whoever is critiquing hear their own voice.

Depends on the age of the child. Most children at some time will say that they don’t like school and don’t want to go. Do you allow for them to quit?
Within reason, and at an age if accountability the child can relay his/her opinion but the parent makes the choice. It’s called PARENTING.
