One thing worth mentioning is that Undead Nation was stolen by Exeplex from Boom4444444, it was originally called Nano Infection and the original game is also still playable, it has 7 chapters but the last 2 chapters play out completely differently and are more fun than UN. I wonder if you'll cover the popularity and fall of skateparks as a history coverage on Roblox. I remember growing up alongside them in early 2010 which also had zombie games that were popular to play as well. Skateparks used to be both the combination of socialization (as in social hubs similar to Iron Cafe and modern vibe games) and actual gameplay experience that they were.
I still remember playing Project Lazarus for the first time, and that was the first cod zombies clone game on Roblox I have ever played! I also remember seeing Zombie Tower and wished I could have played it before it became buggy until a man named Draco remade the game known as Zombie Tower: Resurrected, and it was amazing! I played that game ever since it was in Beta until he decided to replace ZTR with Survival Mode, or what the once Zombie Tower game is now called Resurrections, not old Resurrection from 2017 or 2018, just Resurrections, and it is now a Call of Duty Zombies clone but Black Ops 2 Zombies, and that when Zombie Tower as a genre is now gone. Not to mention, Resurrections also used old classic Roblox maps, reimagined them, and tried to call them "original" maps when they really weren't, just reimagined maps of classic Roblox maps. I feel like every game like Resurrections is trying to make more Call of Duty Zombies clone games on Roblox because they don't need to make any original because people who have never heard of or played Call of Duty Zombies before can now play these games. Not all of them are bad, but they are not inspired by Call of Duty Zombies.
There was one game I played the absolute shit out of that I was hoping to rediscover here, I remember it was an open map with scattered zombie spawns, youd get cash for killing zombies to buy guns or upgrade at one of the pack-a-punches put in some places, there was a pretty good base building system but no way to claim an area so I'd have a good design going then some little shmuck would wall up the overhangs letting the zombies climb up. When people saw a successful base they gathered and tried to be helpful, usually didnt. I'd say it was released about 2008-2012

It really was older Roblox that hit the hardest. It was really something. I wasn’t able to play the actual call of duty at the time, and Roblox was about the only game I played; I would really just stumble upon these games. While these games don’t hold up to today’s standards, they sure created the stepping stone for others.
A favorite niche zombie game on roblox I like is Dread, it’s a fun one with many gamemmodes, guns and gadgets to unlock overtime and some of the most neat zombie types I’ve seen in a zombie game. You got pvp modes, vip survival, normal survival, arcade (power ups). The zombie types which dead players will play as each are able to sprint, the classic fast zombie also has a tall jump and can reveal the location of survivors, the tank is a swat with shield that has armor that only goes down when you shoot from the front, the exploding zombie has a jetpack you can fly and explode into an enemy, molotov for range and than a giant buff guy as usual

I really loved played deadzone while it existed with its honour system and the safezone mechanic. i remember started playing the first 3 games i named alot but switched over to deadzone and apocalypse rising 1, even began playing thoose with my friends and i remember telling my deadzone gameplay stories to my family. good times :-)
For me it was call of robloxia for sure the map layout, weapons and how it works is very nostalgic to me as I spent ages on that game as I am a big fan of the COD Zombies gamemode I enjoyed playing it on whatever platform and that game at the time did it really well
Wow, i didn't knew the maps in ZOMBIE STORIES(an old zombie game too 2017-2018 i think) took inspiration from the game zombie tower and contamination. If you play the game rn go to legacy stories and thats where u can see the contamination map, and misc and u can see the zombie tower map. Oh and it has its old maps too back when it was just released, but some of them isnt(lakehouse survival and the refueling the helicopter based on my memory). But ill tell ya, lil me had so much fun in Zombie Stories

Hey, I was hoping to see here a WW2 zombies game that I played and is kind of cool because it quite literally throws WW2 soldiers to rescue civilians and stuff - "WW2 Zombie Survival", which I honestly don't know why you forgot since it has 6.1M+ visits and is from 2018! - other zombie games that I played and lowkey expected to see here would be, for example: "All of Us Are Dead" from 2022 with 132.9M+ visits which is based on the Korean series of the same name; and the game "Zombie City" from 2021 with 6.7M+ visits and that is basically a survival game based on Korea with "classes" such as civilian, military, zombie, cult member, and raider - where you can unlock more classes such as police officer, military officer, etc by getting badges and/objectives. Edit: There is also a game that is based on Guts and Blackpowder, but is set on the Civil War instead - It is called "Last Dawn" and is from October 2024, and so far it has 932.0K+ visits. Edit 2: Would you look at that! Apparently the developers who tried to make L4D in Roblox are the same creators of Guts and Blackpowder! But I might be off because they say it was their own campaign on "Left 2 Die" so it could be that I mistook it for a game taking more of a "FNaF/Half Life 2/Hitman but in Roblox" approach where (at least FNaF and Hitman; I believe HL2 is still on development or has been cancelled) were able to fully import the lore, main mechanics, and overall maps and gameplay. I need help, i remember a game there were like 2 warehouses / safe houses and at one of the safehouses there was a guy outside and he would shoot any zombies that came near protecting the enrance. There was another warehouse and i believe in that warehouse there was a car
In the first half I thought the game might've been Rise of the Dead because that game been around ever since 2014 and it also had a guy in the game in the place called the "Sunday safehouse" where he would shoot zombies that entered the alleyway. But after that? the car part? yeaaa... Not sure, but give out Rise of the Dead a try. Its a GRINDY game but... Yea its grindy, nothing good to say about grinding.

Its a great game although when it was first launched some of the maps had some funny bugs like on Nacht Der Untoten if you went around to box the zombies would only spawn in from stairs making it really easy and could get stuck sometimes

Both of the games were in the original script but I decided against it as my thought process was sure they have zombies on the easiest difficulty and in tds case it gets changed up on how hard it is to different enemy types so I thought it might be a stretch

Yup thats the shift that has happened though you can still find genuine passion projects like guts and blackpowder that isnt pay to win and stuff like blocktales, shadovis rpg. There are games that still offer a fun experience without being pay to win
From looking it up it seems to be a small game with a decent playercount. From looks it has the pet sim idea of splitting into areas that have stronger enemies as you progress

Honestly its a really cool game that I overlooked as its weaving the ideas of bloons tower defence with guns and zombies and seems like a pretty fun game to play

Both of the games were in the original script but I decided against it as my thought process was sure they have zombies on the easiest difficulty and in tds case it gets changed up on how hard it is to different enemy types so I thought it might be a stretch

The voice over will always be right sometimes text in sony vegas can copy an existing one and override it. I dont know why its a feature but its annoying and easy to toggle

Yup thats the shift that has happened though you can still find genuine passion projects like guts and blackpowder that isnt pay to win and stuff like blocktales, shadovis rpg. There are games that still offer a fun experience without being pay to win
