I've got one of these on order for March, the RS edition full hybrid in flame red, and can't wait. Always been a Renault driver, right from the R19 in the mid 80s! I very much enjoyed your review and your obvious enjoyment of the the car - too many reviewers have been sniffy about the engine pickup at higher speeds and a lack of 'poke'. The things is for me as an older bloke I want the looks and the efficiency, and I ain't that bothered about the poke! Thanks for the fun review, I agree with you it's a lovely looking car
Ps needs some glass in the roof , otherwise its gloomy , espesh the on average 8 months of gloomy weather in uk . Head room at back will be less than standard say previous kadjar for those who like a coupe style
At first I thought the car and the name were a bit of a rush job but The cars growing on me , but it's only managed 3.5 stars from the off and it never gets better in fact by 2024 it could be just a 3 star rating. Which Def effects it's resale value down the line. Ps they don't do panaramic roof , they will fit a factory order. smaller sunroof instead . Who thought it a bright idea to call it a arkana ? Rhymes with old spanner.
Looks like a great car , I brought a Peugeot 508 GT line from your review you had on your channel. The 508 has not disappointed, quiet refined comfortable and 600 plus miles out of a tank of Petrol , yes Petrol and an auto
We see more down south than around, saying that MG in general we see way more models than we used to, we’ve the Long range coming in November as well as manual 1L Auto ZS.
Una pena los acabados posiblemente por una carencia de control de calidad, los faros no se ajustan bien en la carrocería, sobresalen de ella, más en su parte derecha, fácil de comprobar .
ive been driving this arkana in metalic perl white for 4 weeks! i love it, i only have 2 negatives which aint deal brakers, the back passenger seat belt plugs sink when my family try and plug seatbelts in, and they dissapear haha. And the 2nd, steep hils the petrol engine will rev so high, its like being in 1st gear at 40mph, but thats rare. :)
That’s great to hear, oh dear it’s amazing how many seatbelts do that 😀 yes a lot of hybrids scream when floored, no doubt in time they’ll find ways to regulate it, enjoy and thank you Tomogochi.
Literally when floored, pretty much all them do this - normal acceleration and you’ll notice barely anything, best bet drive one, and keep us posted - thank you
@@PlanetautoUKbought the 2021 full hybrid rs line about 9 hrs ago 😂. I had one reserved since last week. Spent all day driving it and understand what you mean. Normal acceleration and it’s a nice drive. Thanks for your wise and prompt reply 👌
@@PlanetautoUK I’m still watching the video, :) surprising how good the headroom is in the rear. On my dads x6 it was a little tight on headroom in the center rear seat
It’s because it good, I’m not pointing out something pointless, it’s well trimmed, yes hard plastics and soft - bloody good engine and fun, it’s not an SVR or our C124 but it’s not trying to be
Eight years ago I went to the office four days a week and worked from home on Friday. Result: 30 k per year. Post covid it's one day at the office, four at home, resulting in 12 k per year.
Drove and one and it left me disappointed, don't get me wrong the design is ok, but the performance and finish are a serious let down, conclusion they won't get my 35K for this

Thank you Martin, Oo that sounds an amazing colour, I always loved the Chamade 16v, enjoy your new Renault
Same goes for sex life lol 😂😊

Well as you saw we found out what My Sense was, not safety but driving modes, we hoped you enjoyed the Renault Arkana, thank you

Yes a panoramic is always a must

Thank you Robert, we were very impressed and still are, it’s great to here how our review helped you and for us to hear from owners like you, enjoy.
@@PlanetautoUK you don’t see many 508s around it’s a shame as it is such an under rated car in
My opinion
We’re seeing more and more around and even a few SW’s too
@@PlanetautoUK have you noticed how many MG 5 s are now on the road in a space of 30 miles I spotted 8 different cars

Thanks for the video, nice honest commentary and good video editing. You get a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me.
You’re very welcome and thank you Cal
I enjoyed watching the Video Review. Looks very nice and sporty
Thank you Jamie, yes it’s an impressive coupe SUV

As this was a drive day for UK Press it’s possible this was pre production, we’ll take a deeper look when we get one on review.
Good review ive ordered the Clio RS line e-tech in Valencia orange metallic...
Thank you Paul, a great car - we loved the RS Line Clio on review, well refined, fun and engaging, Planetauto colour too, enjoy
Do you have a review of a non plug in Hyundai Tucson Hybrid
We have a first look and drive video at SMMT if that’d suffice?
I would agree. It looks much more in proportion that some rivals like the BMW X6 (which in my opinion just looks a bit stupid)
They’ve really got the rear flow spot on, thank you Alan
I think same with the Mercedes GLC it looks good but Gle,Gls,X6 the proportion is like a Muffin in marathon clothes
Do you still plan on reviewing the Lada Niva
We are waiting patiently, or not so… should…should be November /December -still being modified

A lovely looking car. They are very popular in Moscow. All these brands like Mercedes owe this segment to BMW with their X6! :)
We actually mentioned the X6 starting that craze when we were chatting to Andy, thanks Matt

Us too, yes earlier vehicles were even the new 508
Great review
Thank you
Hope the drive through Nailsworth was fun!
It was memorable, thank you Toby
👍 cool car 💪 Zanzibar color topper
Oh yes, thank you Marc
"It's a sporty suv"
Does someone want to tell him what the "s" stands for in SUV?
You’re not a regular, so we’ll let you have this one 😉
I meant R11!
My old college friend had a number of Renault 9s, cool underrated car.
if alan partridge did car reviews :)
Knowing me knowing you…aha
Renault🔝❤️💪
Oh yes, very cool 😎 Thank you Sasi
what color?
We’ll double check Ji
Do you work for Renault? The review is very pro Renault .prefer the impartial review

Did he really say 5 years 100K miles? Most people do atleast 200K in 5 years mate
Wow - you cover some miles!
