Teller is highly intelligent, and we all know that he is the true brains of Penn & Teller but seeing him break character and talk seems just plain weird. Still, these guys are just brilliant and hilarious.
In fairness Penn is also highly intelligent, and plays his fair part in creating their tricks, but he's also the first to admit that Teller is a repository of magical history and is the driving force behind much of their stage work.
These two are awesome!!! The trick with the cloth is mostly slight of hand, but i know how the last part where they wrap it around his neck is done. Watch what teller does and you might figure it out. Very simple solution. I am not sure how they cut the cloth so many times unless of course they had a few pieces that were hidden on them, or they cut the end of then used it. That is once again a great trick by the amazing P&T.
@rftygvhj Crazy, huh? I previously posted their panel from 2010, which celebrated their 35th anniversary together. They've known each other for a looong time. Thanks for commenting!
I just checked out the video game. Don't bother it is quite drab, but i think that is the point. It has no action or violence in it, so it can't be "offensive" to reno. It is what i would call an ironic video game. More like a very boring simulator for a bus.
Tell a Lie is their 5th regular TV show, if I am counting right... and the first one that is awfully boring and uninteresting. One was so-so (mystery tour), the others were great (strange world, bullshit, fool us). So I am confident next time they will come up with something better.
When Teller speaks, it's always priceless!
I love how the interviewer leans forward with such obvious excitement when he asks "Will Teller be speaking this evening???" :D
GODDAMNIT I effing love Teller.
I've never really heard Teller speak before (well, aside from that one Simpsons episode, I guess). He has a very pleasing voice.
The funny thing is, Teller sounds exactly like I imagined him sounding like.
I love how the first word Teller says is "fuck" :)
Teller reaction to 14:23 haha priceless
I love tellers voice its awesome

Felt the same way when I first heard Harpo Marx speak.
