Haha
W@W, being on the Wehrmacht team was always an absolute pleasure, every game!
An utterly sadistic and immersive masterpiece!
Ww2, although gameplay was somewhat entertaining with the revamped ‘war’ game mode, it was an audio disaster in comparison to W@W.
Waws battle quotes and sounds remain undefeated. That shit hyped you up and made you feel like you were in ww2. Best ww2 game ever imo
Imagine the WAW announcers with its atmosphere, WW2 intros and Vanguard graphics (the only thing its does well actually), it would be crazy af
That actually wouldn’t be too bad, one thing I would say is to use the editing style that WaW had when you were on to the next mission, they be great with better graphics
its funny how they tried to make the least offensive world war 2 shooter but they probably ended up making the most offensive world war 2 shooter ever made. I mean what the hell is this lmao 7:15
COD WW2 was a washed down version of WaW.
You didn't play vanguard did you ?
Hey, at lest WW2 had plenty of interesting customisation options, most historical, some questionable, and several outright ridiculous
That’s true, but some of the customization were pretty unnecessary.
I haven’t and that can be argued for being worst. Still, both games are washed down.
Vor uns, liegt Deutschland!
In uns, marschiert Deutschland!
Und hinter uns, kommt Deutschland!
2:48 NO WAY they had a Hitler speech in it... That's so fucking hilarious! xD
They indeed did. Shit was cool for the German faction.
Yeah indeed also for the Red Army. Sad that the Japanese and US Marines did not get the same treatment of epicness and immersion. @@Soulless90
I would say the US Marines faction was the more lower tier kind of faction, but for the Red Army, they made up in terms of that army scream when playing objective gamemodes.
Very true, wished newer Call of Dutys, games overall would try to be immersive and epic. @@Soulless90
I appreciate WW2 looks like trying to return the old roots what WAW did but i prefer the old COD games back on the Xbox 360. WAW is still my favorite.
Hell yea
I feel like the only thing that comes close to W@W voices today is 'The Brusilov Offensive' Operation in Battlefield 1, on the Austrian side the commander (during the round change) is pretty chauvinistic and i love it. Overall, i think the voices were done pretty well in Battlefield 1 (operations), pity you only hear them when the match starts/ends and when the round changes.
chad waw, literally gaves Hitler's speech
virgin ww2, "theY'Re BuILDing thE BridGE"
Yep, pretty much
UNITE UNDER THE IRON CROSS!!!
To be honest man Waw faction voice lines are better and more historically accurate than ww2 in my opinion. This game needs a remake.
Sorry trying my best to avoid negative and threatening comments.
WaW is a much more believable setting based around World War 2 for sure. A remake wouldn’t be too bad an idea for how cod has been nowadays.
@@Soulless90 yeah I know man but Activision is too stubborn and too cheap of remastering these classic Cod games from 2003 to 2012.
Dont forget the Voice Lines from Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer, when you can pick what you want to say like in Counter-Strike. If you play as German, your character is saying in German language, not like in WW2
That’s a cool feature.
Does everyone remember when it would starts off black and white for the first 5-7 seconds then flip to color right before the match started
Yea, nice simple detail especially if the game is good, those two will go together.
Paul nakauchi who voices the Japanese announcer is also the voice of the Japanese police in Destroy All Humans 2 and the Japanese Army soldiers in world at war
What's crazy is that, in the Factions, if you were playing as the Germans, it shows the Iron Cross for obvious reasons to avoid controversy. But in Capture the Flag games, this game does not give a fuck showing off the Swastika, basically saying your fighting for Naziism or the Reich. I never played this game, but Goddamn! This already convinced me this is probably the best WW2 game of all time! I need to get this game!
The game has like 1000 plus players on it last time I was on WaW.
If you've finished the campaign.
Play it on veteran, "You will not survive."
@DoctorKrain I have before, it’s crazy
@@Soulless90 You still hear the grenade dropping sound, because same here! 😂
Exactly
WW2 american voice actor reminds me of cod ghosts for some reason
Really? How so
A BOMB BEEN PLANTED IN OUR AMMO SUPPLY
Freakin World at War having Kiefer Sutherland and Gary Oldman. So good.
Should have used "A BOMBS BEEN PLANTED ON OUR AMMO SUPPLY." That line was godly back then
The only fond memory in WWII lol
Cod in 2021: “My Team” “Enemy Team”
Cod in 2008: Hitler giving a speech.
A draw is a disgrace to the fatherland!
Credit to Kiefer Sutherland and Gary oldman. Belter performances
They did an amazing job
They need to remaster this game so I can play on PS
Yes
Comparing old cod to new cod always makes me Drop Tears becasue it is painful to see how one of the most iconic FPS games in gaming history end up Losing its charm in the hands of Greed
Sure sucks. It had identity and actually stood on that with past cod games that didn’t make the recent games in years look like absolute jokes.
Outstanding Marines, OUT FUCKING STANDING!!
WE KICKED ASS!
ok ok, ill reinstall WaW you've convinced me.
Good choice
"Vor uns liegt Deutschland, In uns marschiert Deutschland, Und hinter uns, kommt Deutschland!"
B IS RETREATING! KEEP FIRING!
Vanguard: "Rootin' tootin' job guys we beat the mean bad team and won the game!
World at War: *Koniggratzer Marsch begins* "We honor the Fuhrer with our success!!!! *"Vor uns, liegt Deutschland, In uns, marschiert Deutschland, Und hinter uns, kommt Deutschland!"*
They’re building a bridge
You know that there is no competition when even the Marines, the one with the worst announcer in WaW, has one with more heart in his delivery than anything from WW2, let alone Vanguard.
I found all faction voices great in WAW. Still, you’re true for the other cods, dead announcers.
@@Soulless90 I swear that almost every faction post-BO2 tries to imitate Ghost from MW2's TF141 in 2009, but forgets the fact that they are not TF141.
i always hear the iconic selective german lines that rooted from cod 2 up to wawn
The power of WaW to make us feel patriotic for a different country each match
When the factions were more interesting
WaW was such a gem
For sure
IF WE'RE GOING DOWN WE'RE GOING DOWN FIGHTING
This video has more testosterone than i will have in my whole life
VICTORY BELONGS TO GERMANY!!!
4:57 Why do all the explosions in WW2 sound like that? It's awful!
They’re ok. Also, I’ve seen all your Faze Jev rage montages so it’s cool that you’ve commented on my videos lol
@Soulless90 Oh hey, Thanks for the reply! Great video BTW, and Thanks I'm glad you like them!
:) appreciate it
WaW even used the period accurate German flag.
We need the spirit back. We need the emotion and grit. The newer games don’t have that
It’s those detailings that can make the difference
Idk man but the WW2 announcer sounds hot
Ok then 😂
World at war - The best CoD of II world war
I agree
They are building a bridge!
COD has really fell off.....
Unfortunately, it has
The music of both games slap but mate the voice lines man xD... COD fell off BAD
Yea I wouldn’t say that COD:WW2’s music was bad, although WaW’s music is just on a different level, but you’re right there COD fell off like pretty bad
2:42 vs 6:55
Thats all you need to know to judge
Fair enough
WAW and WW2 had better faction voices then that excuse being Vanguard
