Just outstanding.. heard this full album on the Virgin Air music guide on my way to Australia and just loved it. The Enz a great band that takes me back to my youth.
Wow. Takes me back. I remember hearing this long ago. What a great job live. Yet another song that should challenge the musicians of today. DO BETTER! I dare you. You can't. Unfortunately, music like this is fading away to music for the masses. I stumbled on Tim Finn years ago. I bought a cassette in a cheap pile but I had heard songs of his in "muzac" not knowing that he and Neil and Split Enz were all connected. Well, they certainly got a lot of my money after that. I also remember meeting a girl from New Zealand and asking her if she was a "Tim Finn fan." She was amazed that an American actually knew who he was. Fantastic work from all of them.
I think this is the greatest love song ever I was old enough to understand when I first heard it ! Neil Finn is the master. Makes me jealous of the Kiwis and Aussies due to their proximity for opportunities to see him/them/ all!
