What were the front and rear bumpers you put on before the full 1M conversion?
how do you get to a place where you can do stuff like this? i see so many people doing crazy stuff to their cars and i'm over here clueless. I'm nervous to even ask a mechanic to do maintenance on my car. and i'm poor af.

Sick! The amount of work and OEM+ness is really impressive. But aren't you afraid of the rear arches corroding/rusting over time? Even though you siliconed them, not welding, seam sealing and cavity waxing them will cause issues in the long run.
Not really. This is a show car/street car. If I were out driving this thing hard every day it would be a different story. Worst case scenario: I have issues down road, buy real quarters and redo the rear end.

how would you compare the 1m clone to your old m2?
Very different. Honestly nothing alike. F chassis is just a different animal compared to e chassis. The m2 was a handling monster. As far as suspension and handling, that car was one of my favorites, just behind the GTS. The clone is a beautiful car, and it rips! But it’s still lacking some of the 1m components to make it handle better. We will get their in the future though!

This is a proper build! Quick question: what did you do about the headlight washers? Did you just uninstall and code out any error?
Good question! So I uninstalled both modules and the lines running to the feed from the washer reservoir, then I just capped the line off. No coding was necessary, no errors thrown.
looks great, the only thing i'm not a fan of is the 1M hood. not that it doesn't look good, just, i don't think non-M cars should have the bulge in the hood if it's not a M. but i do think you have earned the right to have ///M parts on the car because you put a bunch of work into the engine to make it faster
It’s actually not a 1m hood. 1m hood is the same as the factory 135. This hood is a full carbon hood taken after the e9x m3. 😎

How come the final car had a different plate, the one in the rest of the video was UNIT with black wheels in the garage with the rear fenders still unpainted showing the fibreglass still. Whole build is suspicious 🤨
I change my plates all the time, every few months or so. I’ve been doing that with all of my cars for years. You can also watch the entire process of me building this car piece by piece in the playlist. Not everything is a conspiracy theory.. 😂
