I agree their service is totally FUBAR so after 15 years I switched to AT&T U-Verse and couldn't be happier. Regarding this problem if this happens when you turn on your TV or switch from DVR back to live TV unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. Worked for me when there was stuttering and is better than having to reboot the DAMN DVR!
I had techs blame this on HDMI too. WTF everyone is using HDMI. Simply unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in and it resolves the bad picture issue. Better yet just to go with AT&T U-Verse which is what I did.
@Toonylune Oh yes... In fact the content actually jumps form channel to channel! I guess it's some kind of new age programming! ;-) Honestly I am thinking of switching to Dish or DirectTV
@DavinDaGeek Sadly it's not. From what I understand the cable companies each 'own' towns. Where I live is a TWC town. Can we just put it all on the table and say "monopoly?" TWC? I say WTF!
