    To me, embodying siren energy is being in love with yourself, the world and every possible thing in it. It's about paying particular attention to the physical senses. The siren is extremely sensuous and takes tremendous delight in the physical sensations of touch, smell, taste, etc. A siren is never anxious appearing, self-conscious or in a rush. She is fully relaxed and firmly rooted within herself. She speaks gently and slowly. Others are captivated by her radiance and wait with bated breath to see what she will say or do next. She is fully aware of the fact that SHE is the light source and that everyone around her is a moth to her flame.

      Actually Marilyn monroe didn't love herself "as she said in her book" , And she became a siren by practicing a lotttt.
      But that could help YOU and everyone here to fall in love with themselves first.

    Something you didnt mention but kind of touched on was she was incredibly witty. She would have moments of being sophisticated, talking slowly and quietly...but then she would add in something totally off-the -wall. It was part of her charm.

    Jessica, you might enjoy this book about being a siren. It is called "The Rules" by Ellen Fein. Back in the 1990s before social media, when the internet was still a baby - I was in a "Chat" group about the Rules. It was so entertaining. All about the smiles, the flirting, the eyes, and about not being available, not accepting last minute dates. About being a bit mysterious and a diamond that he has to win. Lots more. It's a fun book

      @Anna Voigt to be fair, I'm what they call a "short stack" it's a popular look these days it also helps that I'm very young looking and the younger a girl looks the more likely a guy is to approach her. If a woman is to look more mature and sexy she might get more admirers but they'll be less likely to approach. I can grantee i don't undersell myself I'm just going by conventional beauty standards. As for what i do, honestly i just have passion for my appearance i have fun with it because as soon as I force it, people notice

    07:20 lol do not try this in Germany. Not being punctual on purpose is considered rude and not desirable whatsoever here. Skandinavian countries are the same. *So depending on your culture you should be very careful with that trick.* You keep me waiting for longer than 10 minutes without any message? Hum. Longer than 20 minutes? Better have a *very* good reason. Longer than 30 minutes? Being dead is the only defense you got at this point. And we're definitely not gonna meet again.
    Being considerate and respectful of other people's time is sexier than letting them wait. It wouldn't work on me, anyway.

    Sirens are an energy, basing everything on looks, personality etc is useless if you dont know how to control your energy, surface will only affect surface.
    It takes a very specific type of internal energy like marlyn level where you can conciously turn your light on and off at will, which she at times went out in disguise to show people she knew that it had nothing to do with who everyone knew her as in physical form 🙏💖

    I swear The Marilyn is all about the style/+the mannerism. Just looking at Jessica here, in all her older videos, she still had the exact same face but never gave Marilyn vibes or even "looked like" Marilyn, and even here in this video sometimes she doesn't remind you of her at all at some points.
    But now after she changed her make up, eyebrows, style + learned the mannerism, how she holds her eyes and even how she moves her lips, and suddenly it's Marilyn reincarnated! 🤩

    You are SO gorgeous. The content of your video is wonderful, but I have a lot of admiration (and frankly envy)for your gorgeous looks. I don't know how convinced I am by the whole Kibbe thing, but you'd be the definition of a Romantic! I'd love to have that petite, feminine softness that you have... Ah well. :) Thank you for the advice beautiful!

    7:56 You know what, this is actually so true. Every time I go on a date (I'm a very insecure young woman, I'm 24 years old but I'm still really insecure and I'm trying to work on that aspect), I can't help but laugh (almost nervously, though it's not loud or anything) all the time. Like, almost at every sentence! And I thought that it was okay and "oh well I don't like being like this but maybe guys think it's kinda cute" but to be honest, I really don't want to act like that around guys or around my crush. Because, it really makes me look kind of "silly" and insecure even though I'm not like that "normally" (if that makes sense). Also, I noticed that I'm always the person that makes other people feel extremely comfortable but most people don't make me feel comfortable in return, I don't know if anyone has already experienced that. I know it seems nice and I don't want to be less friendly or anything but, I think I should just act a bit more reserved because I always feel like I'm the goofy and funny type of person in public, JUST because I'm feeling insecure and I think that everyone else is better than me. You know, if it was my normal personality or something than I wouldn't be saying that but I really don't want to be like this, I don't want people to perceive me like this, I want people to respect me and I want them to take me seriously.
    Anyway, the whole video is really good but that particular part resonated with me so much! Don't let anyone make you feel like they're better than you, whether it's friends, family or strangers (because yes, sometimes it's your own friends or family that make you feel like you're not that important). I'm seriously going to work on that : feeling more confident, being less "goofy" or "funny" in public, using a feminine and calm voice,... Just trying to "Siren" like Marilyn right ;)

      @user-nv7uq3zj5e 11 місяців тому +1

      I have totally felt this way!! This described (and still does) me so well. The key really is good self-worth and confidence, then you realise nobody is better than anyone else regardless of talent, skill or (even perceived) status, and so you just act accordingly with no second thought. Not even those dudes you’re on a date with. That way, they not only respect you more but feel more respected themselves. In your life you will always come across people you feel inadequate to, it is impossible to never do. So the real secret is to try see “better” people as a genuine inspiration, and want to genuinely learn from them, with not the slightest bad intention (either through envy or shame) That part is difficult, more than people can admit to themselves, and it’s why the whole shadow work thing went so viral on TikTok and the internet, I really recommend it. The name sounds spiritual, but it’s from a term coined by psychologist Carl Jung, meant to refer to your like “darker” self that you don’t like and sometimes psychologically aren’t even self-aware of, basically.

    Just noting the comment about everyone having to work to Marilyn's time, waiting for her for hours... this wasn't deliberate "siren" behaviour. According to co-stars she was very insecure that she could look right, act right, be her best, without a *lot* of preparation. She'd take forever with makeup, rehearse lines, and so on, to an extreme point. People waited because she was worth it, but there were moments where she was told to hurry up and just stomach her unreadiness.

    • @jessicavill
      @jessicavill  Рік тому +13

      yes very accurate but other times she has stated in her diary that she would make people wait for her because she felt like she deserved to. She said it was like a sort of "punishment" for the same society that bullied her as a child.
