I'm distantly related to marylin monroe through my dad's side we're related to Gladys pearl baker marylins biological mother
To me, embodying siren energy is being in love with yourself, the world and every possible thing in it. It's about paying particular attention to the physical senses. The siren is extremely sensuous and takes tremendous delight in the physical sensations of touch, smell, taste, etc. A siren is never anxious appearing, self-conscious or in a rush. She is fully relaxed and firmly rooted within herself. She speaks gently and slowly. Others are captivated by her radiance and wait with bated breath to see what she will say or do next. She is fully aware of the fact that SHE is the light source and that everyone around her is a moth to her flame.
This is absolutely beautifully stated! And true.
Actually Marilyn monroe didn't love herself "as she said in her book" , And she became a siren by practicing a lotttt.
But that could help YOU and everyone here to fall in love with themselves first.
Wow. That explanation was magical
Uhhhhh
This is absolutely brilliantly said and I have taken a screen shot of the paragraph to use as a self affirmation.
Something you didnt mention but kind of touched on was she was incredibly witty. She would have moments of being sophisticated, talking slowly and quietly...but then she would add in something totally off-the -wall. It was part of her charm.
Examples?
The problem is that I don't know how to be funny, well I'm learning but it's hard to apply
The wit is the hardest part
@@deleteitfat Interviewer "I heard you go to bed with nothing on?"
Marilyn "thats not true, I sleep with the radio on."
that's why i love watching videos of Alexa Chung she's perfect in that regard
Jessica, you might enjoy this book about being a siren. It is called "The Rules" by Ellen Fein. Back in the 1990s before social media, when the internet was still a baby - I was in a "Chat" group about the Rules. It was so entertaining. All about the smiles, the flirting, the eyes, and about not being available, not accepting last minute dates. About being a bit mysterious and a diamond that he has to win. Lots more. It's a fun book
I have a book about seductresses in history. “simply irresistible” by Ellen white
I read the rules as a young woman and loved it
This is just red pill for women
step one :look hot 😂😂
It's a lot easier than u think. Just have good hair and dress for ur body type. Men are just so easy like that. As soon as I started doing that men started flocking even tho my face is naturally mid and my body is low tier

@@epictetushasepictiddiez2615 thats so fascinating tell me more about i!!!
@Anna Voigt to be fair, I'm what they call a "short stack" it's a popular look these days it also helps that I'm very young looking and the younger a girl looks the more likely a guy is to approach her. If a woman is to look more mature and sexy she might get more admirers but they'll be less likely to approach. I can grantee i don't undersell myself I'm just going by conventional beauty standards. As for what i do, honestly i just have passion for my appearance i have fun with it because as soon as I force it, people notice
Believe me even if u look hot and u r not confident u will be boring and u will not be loved
Could you do a whole video “GRWM: Marilyn Monroe edition” while sirening the whole time? It would help me if you showed/acted out her mannerisms and explained while getting ready. 🤷♀️
Yess this is such a good idea
Perfect idea💯
Please ❤
YESSSS
so sirening is confident body language mixed with flirtiness and old hollywood wardrobe? sounds great to me lol
It’s the art of seduction ! I suggest listening to the audio book by Robert Greene he breaks down the siren archetype with Marilyn and cleopatra as representations
I found that I used to be so anxious around other people especially ones that I liked and I tended to talk quickly and stumbled over my words. I learned to just take a deep breath and speak slowly and with confidence and it helped me so much with others but most importantly with how I feel about myself :)
YES! I was the same as you. Telling myself to "slow down" helped so much
The fact that Norma Jean and Marilyn are so so so different shows what a good actress she was even tho a lot of people considered her untalented and kind of stupid.
I guess the joke was on them. 🤭 At the same time it's also sad because even the men she married confused the two personas. 😢
A classic Gemini, she was!
@@Coolramvishnu I didn't realise Norma Jean was Gemini until your comment. Thanks for pointing that out. 🙂
@@laviniasnow4494 no problem! your comment made me realise that how much of a Gemini MM was! 😅
Indeed, Marilyn Monroe is Norma Jane's biggest performance

07:20 lol do not try this in Germany. Not being punctual on purpose is considered rude and not desirable whatsoever here. Skandinavian countries are the same. *So depending on your culture you should be very careful with that trick.* You keep me waiting for longer than 10 minutes without any message? Hum. Longer than 20 minutes? Better have a *very* good reason. Longer than 30 minutes? Being dead is the only defense you got at this point. And we're definitely not gonna meet again.
Being considerate and respectful of other people's time is sexier than letting them wait. It wouldn't work on me, anyway.
I didn’t know this was called sirening! I utilize this when I want to “perform” sexuality and I love the reaction it creates. The way people around me stumble through their words. Just presentation changes peoples perception of you so easily. I don’t do it all the time or often even but on dates it’s so fun
Cringe
@@pinkypink8401 cringe
If that's you on thumbnail, I can only imagine ! 😳🖤
@@sundus928 I was saying they were cringe not the video
Hiiii! How do you do it though? I want to be able to be sensuous and very sure of myself.
Making people wait for you shows disrespect. And Marilyn's co stars and the film crews hated it.
Yes. I would caution about being disrespectful. When people do it to me, I just leave.
Marilyn's insecurity was the reason she would keep people waiting. She was NOT sirening.
I used to do this subconsciously! It's just the way I behaved when I was in a certain mood or around certain people. My friends used to tell me I was "so stunning" or "sensual" but I'm pretty regular looking. I think it emanated from the way I felt inside
people often feel your energy more than your appearance if the vibe is strong enough~ love that your self-confidence exuded so strongly!
So happy to see your videos pop up on yt again! You capture this siren effect so well and I'm loving your natural hair it looks so healthy. Thanks for all your work on researching Marilyn's life as well 💖
I've been making as a siren since my teens when I started modelling, yes it's a thing it's feminine it's self confidence and a positive attitude. A bit witty a little sexy, always classy, every woman should embrace her inner goddess
Hey Jess! Thanks for the wonderful advice! I know a lot of people who struggle with confidence appreciate it! I’m hoping to implement some of these tactics into my confidence journey!💜
Sirens are an energy, basing everything on looks, personality etc is useless if you dont know how to control your energy, surface will only affect surface.
It takes a very specific type of internal energy like marlyn level where you can conciously turn your light on and off at will, which she at times went out in disguise to show people she knew that it had nothing to do with who everyone knew her as in physical form 🙏💖
Literally Jessica is so fing pretty, strangely enough, no one reminds me more of the charm Marylin Monroe had than her.
She did that to hide her stutter. Her speech therapist told her to do so when she was a child. Everybody think she did that to sound sexy but she disguised also her speech problem.
Yes, exactly!!! You know your stuff ! Thank you
Very on point observation, you are absolutely correct Marilyn portrayed that to perfection. For a young woman you are wise beyond your years, all the best.
I can totally pick up on when you actually start to demonstrate sirening in this video and it's very powerful lol, it's like an energy that takes over the whole room, or in this case, the screen, i think it creates a confident aura even if you're not necessarily confident like in Marilyn's case, and you can turn it on or off accordingly. I think it's brilliant and it did help Marilyn become an icon, she was so much smarter than people give her credit for and she keeps inspiring all of us. This was fun to watch, thank you 🌹💖
@Ciclopea2
In what minute, she speaks with the syren voice?
@@dzm30 "sirening" is not about just a voice, it's mostly her whole vibe and demeanor, and if i remember correctly without re-watching the video it's when she talks about Marilyn arriving fashionably late and making people wait for her, it's when i can see her actually doing it, and i love it.
Oh man… don’t purposely make people wait for you. That’s so rude and annoying. Marilyn was a deeply insecure and broken woman which is why people had to wait for her on sets.
Agree. It made her co stars angry and the film crew .
@@pobstrel and contributed to issues she had in her career like losing jobs and resentment with costars and stuff
I love Marilyn but that would’ve drove me crazy 😭
She was also a Hollywood star
Sirening isn't suppose to be a nice thing u do to people. Since when are sirens nice? This is a form of energy vampirism. It's suppose to keep u in the front of people's thoughts and conversation so that you're more relevant overtime. The more energy drawn to u, the more u can alchemize it to your benefit

It’s amazing you look like her!
Thank you for this very interesting video! And I must admit, - you look incredible! The hairstyle, the makeup, the clothes, - OMG!
You are the reincarnation of Marilyn, love your vibration. First sight of you this morning listening and listening.
Hello gorgeous!!! 💖🥰 I love this video, great topic!
You captured her look, whether that's just your technique or natural similarities it's pretty amazing. You look like a brunette Marilyn.
Aloha Jessica, at first, actually second viewing of your wonderful video, you looked so much like Ana de Armas. I fell in love with Marilyn Monroe when I was 5 or 6 years old when I saw her in the movie,” There’s No Business Like Show Business.” It/ She, changed the course of my life. I was 15 years old when I heard that MM was dead. Yes, I’m old, and am so grateful that Marilyn has been in my life, and actually there for me during many dark moments. She’s coming through right now, so got to go. Thank you for this tribute to Marilyn type video. We, the collective will always love and miss her ♥️😪💋🥂🌹.
My GRANDMOTHER has this down PAT! I wish I could attach a picture of her because she’s still so beautiful. She is the sweetest ever, but her siren energy often intimates other women…due to this confidence. Men still drool over her. I’m telling you, she is the ultimate siren.
*Intimidates
This is so sweet!! I loove her
Wow your hair is fantastic!!!
so helpful ❤ i love your videos
its weird that we are having this conversation about someone who died from a barbiturate overdose... i love Marilyn, but oh boy was her self confidence not only unnatural, it was a facade! there is no judgment for people suffering with addiction, only the understanding how painful life can be and being sober can be... just odd how we glorify the sultry aspects of her but no one talks about how much she suffered.
FYI Marilyn DID NOT commit suicide. You need to do your research if you don't know that.
You should do a makeup tutorial for this specific look!
You do look like a young Marilyn Munroe even with dark hair, she was a Amazing person still remember to this day by many around the world , I follow other Marilyn UA-cam channel that play her movie's, I've got a couple of her dvd's but will get more for my collection, thank you
Well they both have that ingenue essence
Nicely done 😍
the fact that she was such an insecure person makes her human and very close to us, I empathize with her
You're a life saver! My own eye got similar to her too!!!
This was a great video and you made it very simple and easy to understand. I'm interested to see your other videos, sorry I don't have Tik Tok.
I sometimes get in this mood and it actually works.
Several years ago a very muscular handsome man walked into a club and everyone both men and women became silent and stared at him!! He was that good looking!! We both locked eyes with interest. Soon their were about 6 women surrounding him feeling his muscles and giggling !! I got up and walked past them as he looked at me he smiled seductively and I rolled my eyes!! Lol. I stood all alone in a section and he literally pushed these gals off him and ran over to me!! He said " All those girls were feeling my muscles and you can too if ya want!!". I arrogantly said. " They are disrespectful mauling you !" He says " you can touch my muscles too if ya want". I said " Go back over to them because I have eyes and don't need to maul you !!". Lol. It drove him crazy that I was aloof but yet friendly. Lol
While reading this, I’m picturing you as Marilyn.
Riiiiiight
And then everyone clapped
I pictured the while thing as a movie scene 😂

New to your channel...I love your hair and make up it is not only beautiful but perfect.
A guided practice would be great
Yes I have to say from an early age to 18 I was very unconfident and once I found my scene and love of clothes and fashion I grew in to the siren cues and whenever I went out at night all dressed up with makeup and out it came the confidence it’s funny as it feels like all eyes are on you and people actually move out of your way give you room, men look at you adoringly their girls will side eye and frown it can become quite intoxicating but then you grow old and have children and your life changes lol I still run on my own time though always have and it drives my family insane lol I can’t help it 😂😊
Omg can we please get a hair tutorial of this look ?!
I need a hair tutorial girl 😍
Gorgeous woman with gorgeous timing...Thank you!!!
Marilyn Monroe was always pretty. Lovely in personality, authenticity, beauty.
More beautiful, more gorgeous. Often confident, intelligent, independent, smart.
THANK YOU!
Hi Jess, great tips although in your case being extremely gorgeous really helps the siren image ❤️
Aww thank you! Guess what though? the head of twentieth century fox at her time ( Mr Zanuck) said Marilyn was ugly! 😂 so I think beauty is truly subjective and confidence is the real deal! ❤
Yeahhh it really works for me too 😆 I love Monroe makeup! I wish if you could do it a MM makeup tutorial eyes and if you can consider do other video of Thalia in 90's makeup please.

Vamp it up, Miss Vill. “When you got it..”, as they say, and we all know you’re much more than your many, many appearances. 😉✌🏽
I swear The Marilyn is all about the style/+the mannerism. Just looking at Jessica here, in all her older videos, she still had the exact same face but never gave Marilyn vibes or even "looked like" Marilyn, and even here in this video sometimes she doesn't remind you of her at all at some points.
But now after she changed her make up, eyebrows, style + learned the mannerism, how she holds her eyes and even how she moves her lips, and suddenly it's Marilyn reincarnated! 🤩
I want tutorials !❤❤😊😊
I'm so thankful for my bedroom eyes and arched eyebrows
Mermaid & Sirens are definitely not the same nor look the same. Look deeper into celtic religion/folklore🍀 but as far as makeup goes....I'm completely hooked!
You're awesome. You're so beautiful and talented. You need to be in Hollywood. Also, you're very down to earth and real. That's a quality to always keep to really draw fans and popularity. Don't ever lose that. People love that! All the best ❤
You look like Marilyn Monroe, the enormous incredible resemblance is impressive.
Jessica, please do a video tutorial using your voice and body, how you would say the same thing not siren and then siren so we can see the contrast
You look gorgeous
I’ve read though, that the bedroom/droopy eyes was a side effect of eye lid surgery gone wrong and that she constantly tried to work around it.

You look so much like Marilyn Monroe, especially around the eyes, eye brows. And of course your hair style.
Really good video! What would be the male version of sirening?
I looked up siren instruction videos out of curiosity and it made me realize I’m a natural as I already apply all of it 🤭
How do you do your hair like that? It’s fabulous

you cannot really become one. you either have it or not. it is and energy within.
All this time i was being a siren without knowing it wowww ❤
It's true...when out I sometimes for fun, just turn it on.
Can we get a tutorial on this hairstyle? I’ve tried different methods to achieve this but it never looks this pretty:(
I'm not sure if I'm right, but I think Zoe Kravitz is kind of like a siren.
1) Be hot; 2) repeat.
Thank youu❤
Jessica, could you try to do Bonnie Tyler’s Total Eclipse of the Heart hairstyle? It’s one of my favorites but I’ve never found a tutorial on that hair😢 it was also my dad’s favorite song❤️
You are SO gorgeous. The content of your video is wonderful, but I have a lot of admiration (and frankly envy)for your gorgeous looks. I don't know how convinced I am by the whole Kibbe thing, but you'd be the definition of a Romantic! I'd love to have that petite, feminine softness that you have... Ah well. :) Thank you for the advice beautiful!
7:56 You know what, this is actually so true. Every time I go on a date (I'm a very insecure young woman, I'm 24 years old but I'm still really insecure and I'm trying to work on that aspect), I can't help but laugh (almost nervously, though it's not loud or anything) all the time. Like, almost at every sentence! And I thought that it was okay and "oh well I don't like being like this but maybe guys think it's kinda cute" but to be honest, I really don't want to act like that around guys or around my crush. Because, it really makes me look kind of "silly" and insecure even though I'm not like that "normally" (if that makes sense). Also, I noticed that I'm always the person that makes other people feel extremely comfortable but most people don't make me feel comfortable in return, I don't know if anyone has already experienced that. I know it seems nice and I don't want to be less friendly or anything but, I think I should just act a bit more reserved because I always feel like I'm the goofy and funny type of person in public, JUST because I'm feeling insecure and I think that everyone else is better than me. You know, if it was my normal personality or something than I wouldn't be saying that but I really don't want to be like this, I don't want people to perceive me like this, I want people to respect me and I want them to take me seriously.
Anyway, the whole video is really good but that particular part resonated with me so much! Don't let anyone make you feel like they're better than you, whether it's friends, family or strangers (because yes, sometimes it's your own friends or family that make you feel like you're not that important). I'm seriously going to work on that : feeling more confident, being less "goofy" or "funny" in public, using a feminine and calm voice,... Just trying to "Siren" like Marilyn right ;)
I have totally felt this way!! This described (and still does) me so well. The key really is good self-worth and confidence, then you realise nobody is better than anyone else regardless of talent, skill or (even perceived) status, and so you just act accordingly with no second thought. Not even those dudes you’re on a date with. That way, they not only respect you more but feel more respected themselves. In your life you will always come across people you feel inadequate to, it is impossible to never do. So the real secret is to try see “better” people as a genuine inspiration, and want to genuinely learn from them, with not the slightest bad intention (either through envy or shame) That part is difficult, more than people can admit to themselves, and it’s why the whole shadow work thing went so viral on TikTok and the internet, I really recommend it. The name sounds spiritual, but it’s from a term coined by psychologist Carl Jung, meant to refer to your like “darker” self that you don’t like and sometimes psychologically aren’t even self-aware of, basically.
I'm pretty sure that you would have been a huge movie star in the 50s. You have IT.
In Spanish, both a siren and a mermaid are una sirena. :)

Has she done a tutorial for this exact hair ? It’s gorgeous. I suck at doing my hair. I know NOTHING 😅
Just noting the comment about everyone having to work to Marilyn's time, waiting for her for hours... this wasn't deliberate "siren" behaviour. According to co-stars she was very insecure that she could look right, act right, be her best, without a *lot* of preparation. She'd take forever with makeup, rehearse lines, and so on, to an extreme point. People waited because she was worth it, but there were moments where she was told to hurry up and just stomach her unreadiness.
yes very accurate but other times she has stated in her diary that she would make people wait for her because she felt like she deserved to. She said it was like a sort of "punishment" for the same society that bullied her as a child.
Gonna try this tomorrow.. I’m scared 💀
Big ups to Natasha!
