Me, who once enlisted 5 friends into bringing 4 large bottles of bright purple acrylic paint to a pep rally to paint literally the entire senior class: ......Ah.
I'm curious but why is acrylic bad on skin?
I think it messes with skin hydration
ikr she's saying that and here I am an artist that gets it on their hands like all their lives and even painted it on my body a few times for shits and giggles. I think its because for some the acrylic can be toxic or cause reactions (mine never did it would wash right off no issue). There is still some "toxic" chemicals in it, not as much as say oil paints but its still there. And most acrylic would essentially block the pours on the body and can cause the skin to not breathe. That can cause issues, like it has for actors and models that would get painted for a movie or something and then their skin/'body couldn't regulate properly or sweat as it should and would end up in the hospital. Its why body paints are supposed to be used for all over body work and why its seen as dangerous if an artist uses anything else on themselves or model.

Hi Lex
I grew up being a artist; I am now almost 22 and unfortunately I can't do art anymore.
Due to a disorder I have( Fibromyalgia ) it effects my hands and makes it EXTREMELY painful for me to write, draw, type and do my eye makeup.
I wish I could still do art and maybe one day there will be a cure or even something to help my hands.
You're amazing and so inspiring❤

I’m so sorry. I hope you were able to treat it quickly. I had merciless ones for a few years and if I didn’t get solid treatment, sometimes I’d be stuck in the dark in my blacked out room for a week, eating from a tray brought to the foot of the stairs after dark, just a quick whispered update on the family, then back to the silence. Thank God for Botox. 😅 Hang in there.

see im am artist but i don't particularly have a style yet, i do this do that do a crap ton of ANIME and my mom is like "why don't you submit some of your art for her to do" and im always thinking ya know i definitely 100% wish i could but i know her style of things i just cant pull that off, i do anime girls mostly MAYBE SOMEDAY I'LL GET INTO MY CREEPY SIDE SOME MORE cause i know i definitely loveeee creepy and really out there stuff. i just don't think my art is good enough so i probably wont be submitting anything anytime soon..

Tip: When I use model magic I use liquid latex and cotton to build a base around it. That will help make sure its secure to your body.
