Thank you I am watching your videos you are very helpful My wife and I are considering moving to Chattanooga from Fort Lauderdale fl We have a number of reasons for looking to move from Fort Lauderdale. We are considering Atlanta area and Tennessee. I’m sure I will watch a very many of your videos over the next months Thanks again
We are definitely moving out from Texas (moved here from PA in 2020 and did not like it at ALL) thinking of TN or FL. Would be interesting to know the cons to consider about Ft. Lauderdale in your opinion. Thanks
Moved from naples fl to chatt last year. Pros of Chattanooga are the people are so much nicer, no road rage horn honking flicking people off 24/7 compared to FL. Weather absolutely spanks hot FL weather, much less bugs, more outdoor activities. Gas is 60 cents cheaper a gallon, rent is about 500 less than similar size fl place. Less county regulation than fl for business related stuff. Not far drive to GA, Carolina, smokies, etc. Cons are, less money to be made, not many high paying jobs or wealthy people compared to fl. Does get pretty cold in winter (but you can dress for it), harder to navigate roads, nowhere near as walkable/bikable as South fl. No beach. Tbh I like it much more, just need to find a way to make some more $
I have a location question . I visited there o day and walked down walnut past the Edwin hotel . We walked across the bridge. I noticed on my left some houses or apartments with green roofs that faced the river . I told my son I would love to live there. What are those? Are they condos or town homes? Also as we walked down walnut we saw some red brick apartments on either side of the street. What are those? Thank you
Did I hear you correctly, did you say you disliked the 'month' of winter? Is your winter that short? Which month is winter, if it is only one month? I have heard other southerners joke about how short winter is, so i just want to be clear.
There are a lot of opportunities here that you can't get in other places. For example, the job unions, but there is a lot of crime here, and the cost of housing and rent is ridiculous.
I have lived here my whole life, and we welcome new people. The one thing that is my hope that if you are moving here from a “blue state” leave those blue state politics there. We are conservative and do not want what you maybe leaving brought here. My other rant, fix the freaking roads!
Can't believe you would not add Whatsapp as a contact ! Wanted to purchase the old river inn through you and you did not make available the contact method for me. Seems pointless to make these videos someone contacts you to spend over a million but no Whatsapp lol good luck
Thank you!! Wonderful insight here!
Bait and switch self advert garbage 😠 chatts weak get out while you can

People are leaving on the Chattanooga Choo Choo for Pennsylvania 6-5000. Sounds like I would need a time machine to find a place called Chattanooga.
It’s been my dream to live in Chattanooga. I go visit every few months. I live in Murfreesboro, TN right now.
Are there a lot of young adults there?
What are close towns to chattanooga, in Tennessee area and Georgia
Google maps and you shall see !
15 min in traffic? Live in Miami that’s a vacation try 2 hour traffic
Thanks Evan your videos are informative: my plan is to move from Calif to Tenn in 2024 .. keep up the good work 👍🏽
Thanks, would love to be of assistance. Shoot me a text (423) 248-2101

Many of those are townhomes and there are also many single family homes on the river@@angelabrown766

You don't get to know in advance.
I may have misspoken. The coldest months are January and February. TN is weird though. It can snow one day and be 75* the next
@@livinginchattanoogatn Snow on one day, and 75 degrees the next? Doesn't happen anyfreakingwhere.
@@chairmanofthebored8684Pretty sure it happened in Chatt this year. I’m not a fan of winter but I love it here. Especially in the Spring & Summer
I have a concern about high crime problem and pollution.

Crime being done by who? a certain culture?

Home owners of Chattanooga need to make this a conversation. I would hate if your city becomes a Auston or Houston TX. Prevent it!!!
