He used the Dickey Allen snarl, snort and tunnel throat technique at 7:02 as seen in the song Unholy Gravebirth ( ua-cam.com/video/ZsnDwUxxvWU/v-deo.html ) and I was hooked from there. As much as I loved CJ, I won't have a hard time getting used to this guy.

Oh dude. For the first time, I've heard this song today when I was driving, it dropped in my radio suggestion. And here's a reaction, thanks! Although I appreciate CJ's work a lot, I have to admit that Will is his damn good follower. His vocal approach reminds me of the CJ's one. You can call me deaf, but I thought while listening to the radio - isn't this a CJ's comeback? :) And even his visual appearance in video is similar. :) Overall, the song is damn good and promising, can't wait for the EP. BTW, Austin is another beast, but behind drumkit instead of mic.

cj definitely had better lows, wills are amazing too and to me his mids and highs are better. cj held them to deathcore, will is bringing out the more blackened deathcore of lorna shore. i love both of them, i think i prefer will
Honestly your both right and your both wrong and what I mean by that is we’re comparing CJs album to Wills 1 song so to be fair I believe we need to here a whole album from Will. CJ is an absolute Beast and the only other deathcore singer that’s as good or better then him is Alex Terrible from Slaughter To Prevail in my opinion. Have you listened to Kill The Lights? If not I recommend giving them a shot. One of the hottest new bands. Their whole debut album from last year was a masterpiece. I highly recommend their songs Shed My Skin, The Faceless, and Plagues.

Im into all kinds of music mainly country music but I can get into rock to its also a pretty good genre of music I grew up listening to rock an country just so happens I like country more but I still vibe to rock sometimes but this is sick asf honestly especially the breakdowns
Damn this is not rock, this is blackened deathcore, probably the heaviest kind of metal, rock is entirely different from this
@@BabimbaFuckusTuckus I'd argue that Lorna Shore and DOOM 2016 and some of the DOOM Eternal stuff mixed by Mick Gordon are the heaviest metal things we've gotten so far, objectively speaking. There are a few other bands that come close, not surprisingly all produced by Lorna Shore's producer, but they don't have the chops to make it hit as hard.
Soon more heavy bands will start implementing the electronic influences and the mixing style. We're probably on the edge of a new wave of something. The Finns have been incorporating electronic influences in metal for decades, not in the German Industrial way as well. Now with Mick, Lorna, and Lorna's producer, more people are gonna start experimenting with electronic percussion instead of just synths, which is a big part of the Lorna sound.
For the most obvious example of this, look at the section before the first breakdown in this song. The electronic percussion makes the section ride more like dubstep than deathcore.
The snarls had me dying
