OMG! I just understood the song. The girl singing thinks she has lost her friend, but she understands that its not her who lost her friend, but she who has lost her life. And that is why her world has stopped.
@@Noniwa2 It's not on the Guilty soundtrack. It's the 2nd song on the "My Dearest" single soundtrack, "My Dearest" being the first opening theme for the series.
The first time I listened to this song, I didn't think it was all that special. But something caused me to listen to it again, and it started to grow on me. Each time I listened to this song I felt the singers powerful emotions coming out as she sings and her pain of going through something terrible that this song is about. And I can relate to that and the kind of pain she was feeling, but thankfully God did help me... I wasn't too late
I never heard about this song before founding it when I was listening to a supercell's songs playlist. And what a beautifull surprise to discover this... I love this song, the way it's sung, pretty original but everyway, intresting.
I've hear plenty of songs over the years sung with great emotion, but never before have I heard a singer actually have an emotional breakdown during the song. This is beautiful. Supercell has incredibly diverse and truly unique music.
Man, this is a serious tear jerker. There's definitely something about Koeda's voice that lends itself to the raw emotion of someone crying out to God following a loss. Admittedly, I haven't seen Guilty Crown (which this supposedly ties into), but I think the song works even without that context.
I totally share your point of view! This is such a beautiful song, such melancholy playing in it, which is given by the piano play. And then her voice! It can be said that it's a sad song, but also full of with other emotions as well. And she managed to put all those feelings into a barely 4 minutes song. It can not be denied this is a masterpiece. : )
I cried a cup of tears when I first listened to Let's promise, but today when I heard this song for the first time, I can say, gallons where shed... I still miss nagi's voice though T.T
the voice is so different from other Koeda songs. I won't believe if the title doesn't say that it's Koeda's voice. She is such a good singer consider her voice from this song, bokura no ashiato/my dearest and giniro hikousen. 3 different styles, same singer.
justinmwit Depends on the person I guess, I'm not a big fan of Koeda's voice, sounds kind of weird to me when she raises her voice. I'm more of a Chelly and Nagi fan.
My best friend was put in a hospital for two months not too long ago. She's had a heart a heart murmur for years now, but she was expected to live a full, happy life. She was hospitalized recently because it had gotten much worse out of the blue. Her doctor told her that she'll live for another ten years, twenty max. She's eighteen now. If it gets any worse, she could die any day now. I've been torturing myself with this song since she told me.
Pain, suffering, and those questions that come back all the time. Sounds psycho sometimes with a dark suffering tone which makes it beautiful and unique at the same time. The only thing I could point out is at 3.13 where she sings "wo" , by the end the dark tone she has put into the song almost makes the note false. At least it hit my ears at the very first time. But it's a beautiful song : )
Umudun ışığını arıyorum, Bu zifiri karanlıkta, Neden tanrım, Neden onu seçtin Değer verdiklerim artık, Her zaman yanımda olmalı Yardım et tanrım, Dua için çok geç Aah, sonunda onuda kaybettim, Senin varlığını, Bu gün evren zamanı durdurdu, Senin varlığın siliniyor Bu istediğim kelimeleri Bana söyleyen kişi Tanrım, eğer varsan, Onu bana hemen geri ver Aah, sonunda neyi kaybettiğimi anladım Seni kaybetmenin anlamını Evren zamanı sonsuzluğa durduruyor, Benim varlığım ve herşey, siliniyor
The story of this song is a girl who lost someone who is very important to her... Simple song, but has a very deep meaning in it... The Instruments are very simple, just a Vocal and a Piano, but it's enough to get a feel of this song. In the lyric "kanojo wo ima sugu kaeshite yo", That's the very sad moment of this song that could make someone cry (I almost cried actually).... QAQ
you also could haev said that Chelly is Singing the [EGOIST] supercell songs, while Koeda is Singing the Supercell Songs that have nothing to do with Egoist. and not to forget Nagi back then, some songs of her (most of them) are realy beautifull as well ^^
usually , i dont really like supercell's emo song, since im prefer to their rock song but this one is a masterpiece from supercell, you can feel the anger and sad just buy hearing this song :)

***** I would watch that
***** Me to ^^
That is almost the premise of "The Sixth Sense"
?
The style of the song is unique in all songs writed by supercell, and PV make me so sad. Also, Koeda's voice sounds nice!
15 years old at the time and she's more talented than most popular western singers we have nowadays.
Can't get that emotionally involved with mere talent.
+Armalord Can u understand what she says without the subtitles though.
+Asphyxia LX can you understand our youth's American music tho.
Tim Vang i can speak english..
Asphyxia LX that's not the point I was trying to get at.... .___.
I get shivers when I listen to this song, especially at the part with the dramatic pause
This song tho, it's been too long since I last heard this. It's just BEAUTIFUL.
Supercell never fail to please me. So emotional. TOO BEAUTIFUL!!
The emotion behind this song is bone-chilling every time I listen to it
This song remembers me the final of guilty crown... So sad.
So, this song its from Guilty crown e.e xD
@@khantcorvus864 IDK. I don't remember listening it in the ost. Maybe my memory is just bad xD

it's different, it's awesome, it's SPARTA !!

Her voice in my heart is honestly the most beautiful out there. I love her and her music
感情こもってる感がすごい・・・。

The way her voice cracked near the end made the song even more earnest!

It makes you really feel sorry for the singer. :-(
Kaitn13 when she almost breaks down while singing? It's heart breaking D_:
Ne Wolf well actually she's obviously just acting. But for god's sake she's good! T_T
Ne Wolf Yeah, so true! :)

Wow, the way she uses dissonance just a little to then switch back to the "right" way to sing it in the end... Makes it so damn interesting. Kudos.

Umudun ışığını arıyorum,
Bu zifiri karanlıkta,
Neden tanrım,
Neden onu seçtin
Değer verdiklerim artık,
Her zaman yanımda olmalı
Yardım et tanrım,
Dua için çok geç
Aah, sonunda onuda kaybettim,
Senin varlığını,
Bu gün evren zamanı durdurdu,
Senin varlığın siliniyor
Bu istediğim kelimeleri
Bana söyleyen kişi
Tanrım, eğer varsan,
Onu bana hemen geri ver
Aah, sonunda neyi kaybettiğimi anladım
Seni kaybetmenin anlamını
Evren zamanı sonsuzluğa durduruyor,
Benim varlığım ve herşey, siliniyor
I love Koeda the most :)
Just amazing!!!!!!!!
I cried on it.

Spelled is used as the pas mainly in USA, in other regions spelt is an equally accepeted variant.
