This song is about the threshold right before the heartache ends, when relief is coming but you really don't want it, because the sadness is your only known link to what you've lost.
You know, songs and animes make it seem like blue skies are the best. I personally like gray skies. Because rainy days just make everything so peaceful. But hey, it's just my opinion :p
I didn't really realize the point of this song until I analyzed it... it's a love song about a girl that thinks back on the past, realizing that she has fallen in love, and gains the courage to say it :) beautifully conveyed
Drewge Liang She is so wonderful. I sometimes make loving but unwatched "manga music videos" (MMVs) and have made three with Nagi/Supercell songs. It's kind of embarrassing, really, kind of lazy, like "add water, get God."
+Mousy Saint No, that is incorrect. You just described a musical score, not a song. A song is music including the voice as part of it. If you ignore one you ignore half of the whole. I can't begin to imagine how one could even do this (some sort of meditation?) but I can agree insofar as this would indeed be terribly disappointing -- just not for the reason you imply. Music of this nature is never intended to stand alone. It's like listening to music with at least one lead instrument curiously absent. It will even _FEEL_ wrong...
I don't want to lose this song even when I grew up. From a heart break until I moved on and kinda found happiness, this song always acompanied me everyday
I think the Good Bye Memories and Kimino Shiranai Monogatari are the best sister song. In Good Bye Memories, she told her feelings at the end and sounds very satisfied even without hearing the answer. In contrast, in Kimino Shiranai Monogatari, she still seems to regret her "secret feeling" long time ago. The simple but big choice at a critical time point entirely shaped the following two distinct world lines. I am being impressed by this contrast 10 years after I first met this song by looking back my choices I have made.
I sang this song infront of all my highschool classmates and my crush before we graduate. They didn't ubderstand the song entirely but they all cried as much as I did :')
I've been listening to Supercell for 1.5 a year yet I've found their greatest song just recently. The lyrics and vocal sure do make you feel those beautiful emotions.
It’s hard to believe I’ve been listening to this song for the past ten years. It’s a phenomenal song, let alone a great Album. 2020 and I’m still blasting this as if it was lil Baby, and roddy ricch
I've always had a image of my head of Supercell and Fall Out Boy in a competition trying to blast their song about memories louder than the other. I don't fucking know.
its even better when you are listening to it in high school on a MP3 and the people around you ask you ask what you are listening to and say a band like supercell. When they ask to hear it the look on their face when they hear the first words is priceless^^
beautiful song... i understand japanese, but the english translation brings meaning and emotions to another level. im graduating high school coming spring, and just listening to this song gives me goosebumps and teary eyes. i love this song too much :')
Yeah so I was walking home from work and I found this song on RisachanXxX's channel. I instantly liked and subscribed, this song has changed how I wake up in the mornings. I find if I give this song a listen then my day goes a lot better than if I hadn't listened.
God, this fits me so perfectly. I've been 9 months waiting for this nightmare to end, but I'll just have to get used to it and continue my life. Those beautiful moments are completly gone. And memories, even though they make feel great sometimes, are hurting too much.
Mine is 1 year exactly today. It's hard but I think I've moved on a bit too. You have to get through your frustration and find ones that understand you. Wish you the best ;)
when I first heard this, i was like what a slow song, that was until 1:41. Then i found myself eating my own words while being stunned by the sheer awesomeness by the rest of the song.
There are three singers, and Nagi, the original singer for Supercell, was only a cover artist, she sang songs that Miku (Saki Fujita) sang. Chelly, Koeda, nor Nagi supplied anything for Miku's voicebank.

Country could try
If you lose someone, it is always painful, your heart is.
well worded!
best part is where she is struggling during the kokuhaku, "わからないよ!" and then my body goes 鳥肌を感じた
I'm so glad I started learning Japanese, I can appreciate the beauty of songs like this even more.
You know, songs and animes make it seem like blue skies are the best. I personally like gray skies. Because rainy days just make everything so peaceful. But hey, it's just my opinion :p
Rainy days make me think of someone else. The feels x 1000. I love rainy days ^^
i also thinks rainy days make it peaceful but i like sunny days too. I love them all accept snow for the most part its so cold xd:)
i prefer cold weather over hot :3
well every one has different feeling towards weather so i think thats awesome:) did you also love the song?
Love the song you ask!? I'm obsessed with it.
I didn't really realize the point of this song until I analyzed it...
it's a love song about a girl that thinks back on the past, realizing that she has fallen in love, and gains the courage to say it :)
beautifully conveyed
Well it's more about traveling to her past to profess her love so that she can move on since she can no longer confess to her crush after graduation
This is a song that can't be appreciated without knowing the lyrics, unless you just go with the raw emotional current that is Nagi.
Seriously, she sang it so well that I knew what she was saying without knowing a word of Japanese.
I went with the raw emotional current... seriously, that girl has such a beautiful voice.
Drewge Liang She is so wonderful. I sometimes make loving but unwatched "manga music videos" (MMVs) and have made three with Nagi/Supercell songs. It's kind of embarrassing, really, kind of lazy, like "add water, get God."
I went with the emotion that was actually in the music. like I do with all music. because music is supposed to be standalone...
it was disappointing.
+Mousy Saint No, that is incorrect. You just described a musical score, not a song. A song is music including the voice as part of it. If you ignore one you ignore half of the whole. nagiさんはやっばり最高ですれ!
I don't want to lose this song even when I grew up. From a heart break until I moved on and kinda found happiness, this song always acompanied me everyday
So beautiful! Also, "That's why I, you, er Wait I'll say something..." is the best line from a song, ever.
I have found the perfect song for losing my memory card
This is like the perfect summer heading into autumn song. It reminds me of all the good memories I've made :)

I can't even begin to explain how much this relates to me.

Found my old playlist along with this song and my nostalgia from what...? 11 years!?!?! My word...
I've always had a image of my head of Supercell and Fall Out Boy in a competition trying to blast their song about memories louder than the other.
I don't fucking know.
First supercell song I heard. Never regretted it.
Supercell is just so awesome! I loved hearing their songs... Hey...Why is there one dislikes? They do not know what is missing here. Go Supercell!!
2019 and I still listening to this song
omg the ending made me so happy when she was finally able to say it hahaha
It's just like one of those beautifully written love stories that turn out to be classic manga works of art.
@@yama_guchi47 そうです!
its even better when you are listening to it in high school on a MP3 and the people around you ask you ask what you are listening to and say a band like supercell. When they ask to hear it the look on their face when they hear the first words is priceless^^
is it just me or does that picture resembles Hiyori from noragami, even though this was made like 4 years ago :)
i know right, i guess this can be said as what Hiyori will say to Yato :)
DariuSlambert7 Why does I feel somehow sad...?
It's because of the scarf I guess.
Not to mention that it is ryo who wrote Noragami's ending song.
Konata Kamijou Maybe they were already making the anime that time and just launched it this year? :')
We have no idea. :3
RisachanXxX, hontoni, hontoni arigatougozaimasu! Thanks for uploading!
So beautiful. The song as well as the video

beautiful song... i understand japanese, but the english translation brings meaning and emotions to another level. im graduating high school coming spring, and just listening to this song gives me goosebumps and teary eyes. i love this song too much :')
love nagi voice..
very touching song love every second of it and can't stop listening to it. Music like this is why i still have hope.

Sayonara memories!!!!One of my favorite songs
The Vocaloid All Stars version is awesome too
kinda a relaxing feeling comes from it.
God, this fits me so perfectly. I've been 9 months waiting for this nightmare to end, but I'll just have to get used to it and continue my life. Those beautiful moments are completly gone. And memories, even though they make feel great sometimes, are hurting too much.
It's okay, hold on. Sooner or later, every love turns into some kind of wisdom. What else can you say that about?
Mine is 1 year exactly today. It's hard but I think I've moved on a bit too. You have to get through your frustration and find ones that understand you. Wish you the best ;)
This song makes me so happy
Gk bosan bosan ni lagu 😭
I've grown fond of supercell ever since I listened to perfect day, they're just the coolest!
when I first heard this, i was like what a slow song, that was until 1:41. Then i found myself eating my own words while being stunned by the sheer awesomeness by the rest of the song.

FRIENDSZONE (ಥ_ಥ)
Officially, my all time favorite japanese song🎶🌧
Wasn't even paying attention to the lyrics till the end. Just enjoying the catchy music. :o
Damn it it's 2019 but still have the goosebumps from this song XD
This may well be my most favorite song ever and Yanagi Nagi sang it so well it just gives one the shivers. Especially the end.
Pure poetry...
I am now in love with this beautiful work of art.
*Yanagi Nagi* is my favourite SC vocalist!
I really love this song!!!
I'm looking forward for sipercell's new album
Nagi was also known as Gazelle, who covered many Vocaloid songs. c: Just thought i'd put in my part of this knowledge of supercell.

tears flowing...
sooo pretty !!!
Good Bye Memories

So many people could relate to this song, at least in some way!
This is fan-freaking-tastic!
I feel you bro. I feel you. And this random song I found is so beautiful! MUST FIND THE ANIME!
The picture timing sent chills down my back :p
just now i have become a huge fan of supercell
warming song..i like this song...i never forget this song...
i miss James Denman Middle School for one reason and it's because I only had two actually friend from 6th to 8th grade haha, Goodbye Memories!
two actual friends
Here's my thoughts on friends. It's better to have 2 actual friends than have a bunch of friends that are never there for you. :)
The lyrics is touching and meaningful T.T
