Certainly the way I feel about working nights. It's quiet, calm, and peaceful. None of the noise and commotion of the day, none of the rushing to get things done. No harsh sunlight burning down, no screeching of sirens and traffic just outside - it's all just soothing silence. And it pays extra most of the time, for less taxing work? It always amazes me how hard it is to find people to fill this shift.
I really, really like this one. It's peaceful and relaxing, and tells enough of a story that the mind can expand upon what is told, to make the ship, journey, and crew come to life. Very nicely done.

Planetary Surveyor has finally scraped together the cash to buy a ship and is now touring about the orbital equivalent of the used car dealerships. Listener POV would be that of a helpful sales associate, well-versed in the various deep-space survey craft on the market.
This is one of my favorite videos, it has everything: great scifi visuals, chill synthwave music, scifi engine hum, a great whispery voice with an accent, and a really chill/vibey script. Absolute perfection
Love it. Its similar to my life as a SAHM of 5 (2 with special needs). Its a quiet simple life. Basic work taken for granted, only noticed if it isnt done. Quiet, peaceful and I wouldnt change it for anything.
This is the life I dream of. I am a mechanical engineering student and honestly maintenance and repairs would be my dream job. The pay isn't as good but I wonder if joy would be worth the pay cut.

@@theepicraccoon4589 I like both as well :) And I don't feel like my voice gets tired from whispering for a long time, like other ASMRtists talks about sometimes. So there will be plenty more whispers in the future!

Anti-Collision software aside, why oh why would you choose to fly through the plane of a planetary ring system? Surely any idiot would fly above or below it. What's the point of maximizing your collision chances?
Spare a thought for the poor sod who's a night owl, but enjoys the analytical work which unfortunately requires dealing with other people during the day. Not that I would know anything about that predicament 🥲 Thank you for providing a bit of wish fulfillment.
