How to Find Robot Animals in The No Man's Sky Origins 2020 Update

  • There are robot animals in No Man's Sky Origins! This is how to find them, but remember that they are really really rare. Also, they are glitched at the moment, so you might not be able to tame them unless you are on the experimental build. Oh, and I share my own location to find robot animals and it is pretty awesome.

    More About No Man's Sky:
Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.
Play with all 12 major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and Origins.
An epic voyage to the center of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.
At the center of the galaxy lies a irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.
Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.
Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.
Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.
The galaxy in No Man's Sky is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

@@kaboomgoo but NMS has a story tho

    • @kaboomgoo
      @kaboomgoo 3 роки тому

@@NachoTrey yes NMS has several story lines. (None of them as good as subnautica though.)
I guess I would say the difference is the stories don't matter for NMS , you can do them or not. The game itself was built to keep playing and exploring.
In subnautica case, the game is built around the story. That makes it feel very different. When you get close to the end you do this world tour thing , saying goodbye in away.
      It was pretty ingenious.
They are both great games in their own ways.
I just think because of the way subnautica is built it's a tighter experience and has a more focused world. Because of that everything was handcrafted , this really make the feel and atmosphere very good.
I'm not bashing NMS in anyway. It's just very different and feels a little more generic the subnautica .
On the other hand you can do things in the long term and engage in a bunch of different activity in NMS that you won't find in subnautica.
So they both have a place.
NMS is an awesome sandbox to play around in.
Subnautica was more of an experience . Even the things you couldn't do added to the experience .
I hope that make a sense lol

Important to note : The new "robotic fauna" (which are awesome!) are *ONLY* in "Uncharted Systems" -- meaning, systems that have no space station and on the Galactic Map, do not show any dominant species (i.e. Gek, Korvax, Vy'keen). From Hello Game's Release Notes for 3.0 ...
    * Some uncharted systems may contain planets that are populated by rare cybernetic lifeforms.

This adds a lot of potential to more creature diversity too! Robot animals all could come with their own unique skeletons and designs, but this also gives the idea of other "types" of life forms. Infested animals? Elemental creatures. They've already got anomylous. They should really keep building on this.

They need to add more robots. Especially on scaley planets where everything is machine based. They should really look in to this, probably use Horizon Zero Dawn as a obvious reference.
Farms for these bots could be that they release pugneium in great amounts after feeding then we literally have a nanite farm and have an actual reason to build one.

I've not found them in systems with economies though. Just in any of the non-yellow stars that are empty.

Thank you so much for this video. I've been trying to find someone to talk about the bait for them because it won't let me do it! I even tried building a little base with a battery out because I thought they might come over to it and hook themselves up or something lol
I hope they patch it asap for console

Just now, I opened up this video while looking for robot fauna. Landed on a Paradise Planet ten seconds after he talks about Ion Batteries in create baits. I get out of my ship... Open Baits... And BOOM only ion batteries. I open Discoveries, and sure enough there are only two species.

Hey man quick question, is it normal for chlorine/ionized cobalt to not appear in the buy section after you sold them?

Would be cool if we could transport animals in a hauler so we can have animals like this without needing to be on that planet

@Jason Plays what is the best reddit to use for portal locations of planets and getting closer to the center of the galaxy? I've played game over 1000 hours on Steam but now playing it on Gamepass and can't devote hundreds of hours to get to the center again.
    Great vids man

Not sure about getting to the center of the galaxy but i find coordinates exchange is the best option for NMS reddits to find things your looking for
