Many people ask, how do I mix songs that have singing the whole way through? or what happens if I wish to mix in my new song and the song playing goes straight into vocals and your transition sounds awful.
In this video I will give you examples of how to avoid vocals on vocals, or big bit on big bit, for tech house, EDM, commercial dance and even some RNB, so keep watching as by the end of the video you’ll know how to mix quickly to assure all your transitions sound super dope.

When you talked about personality for the mids, it stuck with me forever. You're a great mentor.
yeah as heaps of others have said these are some of the best put together videos I've seen for DJing, especially for those that want to learn more than just general beatmatching/mixing. thanks so much for putting them out!
Absolutely love your work Andrew!!! your passion and excitement is contagious! Always looking forward to your next video!
i have seen a lot of dj lessons online. But no one of them explain it that simple as you do:). I have learned a lot more by listening and watching your videos. keep up the great work:).
Thanks Rudi this is a huge compliment, I really appreciate it!
You are so good at teaching out! Keep doing these videos and this channel will be huge! You just earned a sub :)
Love your videos, they have been so helpful for me as some one who has only been going for a few years and at the start of my journey, its all much appreciated.
You are the man Andrew. Thank you for these great videos. Liked and Subscribed. Keep 'em coming.
We need a video explaining how to practice all these stuff so we can remember well, and to when to use this transition instead of the other! Thank youuuu so much
You just explained my course :) www.clubreadydjschool.com/club-ready-dj-course/
Great tutorials. I can't tell yet how much you have enlightened me.
Awesome, thank you!
Clear transitions between those vocals will practice this
Love your videos , so passionate and great intro to topics. 👍🏆
Awesome video! I really enjoy your content, straight to the point every time! 🙏💪👍
Good tutorial, cheers.
What was the bass house track called? I quite like that.
Hi Andrew, I own a Pioneer XDJ-XZ, when playing 2 songs at once on both decks I got to make sure that I'm not going to clash with vocals on vocals. They'll interrupt one and another.
THANK YOU!!!! I FINALLY got my answer!!!!! 👌🙌🙏
I have been following for a little while. Some experience but I love hearing others methods. Knowledge is key. Just wanted to tell you I love your teaching style. And I love when you smile knowing as the bower that you are genuinely passionate about what you do and teach. Keep the videos coming. (Saratoga Springs NY USA)
any tips for mixing an acapella into another song like which eq settings to choose on both tracks?
Great videos. Clear instruction and easy to understand.
Just curious is there a reason you keep the trim/gain so high ?
10:50 I disabled everything which would help me with beatmatching. i turned off the phasemeter and disabled parallel view to train beatmatching and it worked really good. much bette at it now.
I dont know what I am doing wrong, I guess I wanna try to mix the wrong songs!
Marea (we've lost dancing) - Fred again..
Move Your Body - Öwnboss, SEVEK
Drums - James Hype, Kim
and
Bel Mercy - Jengi
I do not get it
just finding this video now! love your vids brother
Thank you appreciate that
Would love to see you apply your techniques using 7inch funk n soul on vinyl...
Very informative 😊
Thank you! but how do you make the chorus of the two songs end at the same time?
You either get really good at reading waveforms or you can map your songs with cues. I have a video on my free mini course all about setting cues, check it out: www.clubreadydjschool.com/free-videos/
most helpful video ive seen keep up the good work
Great video!! Thanks again!!
Could
You do one for gospel house. Those have loooads of vocals and find it a little tricky
Are u using the slider for deck A and B?
Crossfader is disabled and I am using volume faders
Can you make a video on how to mix hardcore(Gabber)/ hardcore uptempo/ frenchcore(175-210bpm)? I would love to See that and i think you would have a ton of fun because i think its way out of your comfort zone 👊😁
100% working towards it :)
YOUR VIDEOS ARE SUPERRRRR !!!
Nice mate
Why is your crossfader always in the position A? (Moved all the way to left?
I have switched the cross fader off - you can do that on the DJM's. I feel you get more control with the volume faders :)
Sometimes the phrases match but the clashing vocals kills the vibe. Should I just avoid trying to mix certain songs together?
Some tracks don't work, so 100% follow the path of least resistance. Generally I may try a few different ways to mix a track and if none of them work, f it, move on.
Can you do this with radio songs my biggest trouble is when it’s songs that feel like the lyrics never end such as the weekend dua lipa etc
Mate Your Golden
please make a video of mixing in with the next song starting with vocals ;)
I can do my best :)
Excellent
8:10 haha bro :) love your reaction
Love him he is so happy all the time, that was a funny moment 😁✌️
please get a lavalier mic or something to avoid the room echo..
That's an older video, all my new stuff has better sound.
@@ClubReadyDJSchool ahh thanks. Was just the first video that came up when i searched :D
lol you talk about R&B music like its from another planet😅
🥰🥰
Haha is the folder the songs are in called 'fucking vocals'?
Hi, I’m a starter DJ and I have to say your videos are super useful and detailed, although they are a bit lengthy in time, if i can give an advice, keep the time under 15min, maybe use some cuts in the videos, just like crossfader does
Noted ;)
Club Ready DJ School 💪🏼💪🏼
@@ClubReadyDJSchool I personally love the lengths of your videos! because you give great detail when you are explaining!
The worst thing in your videos is lack of available subtitles. Not every foreigner speak fluent English. Subs helps to understand.
Well, in the first example you also had both tracks lined up properly.
