i think there's a way to turn up the mic, heather feather use to experiment not only with stereo panning but used the full binural/3d function of these by walking around them or when a person knocks on a door it sounded like they were in my room, i think turn up the volume/sensitivity more to get a better effect

Note for the editor: filter out the extremely high frequencies, like 16k-18k because there is an annoying extremely high hiss/beep, which sounds like the temporary titinus you have after going to a concert
If they filtered it, all the audio would be filtered. Best bet would be re-record the audio and isolated the object in the room creating that sound (most likely the computer fans) because I notice it coming and going depending on the dynamic range of the audio
