- Torque specs:
Hub nut: 159 ft lbs
Ball joint pinch bolt/nut: 37 ft lbs, loosen, retorque to 37 ft lbs, then turn an additional 30 degrees
Wheel nuts: 100 ft lbs
You will likely require 1-2 litres/quarts of Dexron VI ATF.
The control arm tool used in this video is the OTC 6007. It is not required, but can help.
The replacement part used is a Cardone 66-1460.
This also applies to the 2007-09 Pontiac G6 and Saturn Aura.

Why exactly did u have the car in neutral? Just asking before I change mine out.
Just seemed like the right thing to do. I don't think it necessarily needs to be in neutral, but when I've done them on manual transmission cars it's always in neutral anyway.
Which side is that one
When i look for this part they all say they don't included the abs tone ring. It also says it can fit the driver or passenger side and to transfer inner stub from original axle. I really don't know which one to buy.
No tone ring on this one, it's all in the hub bearing

So the fluid you lost was transmission fluid?
Why do some cars have Gear oil and others use transmission fluid?
Fwd is near tranny's Rwd you use gear fluid grease on the Axles
What size transmission is that?

Should the CV sit flush against the trans?
If it's installed correctly you'll never get it all back together.
Impact on a spindle nut is a no no.
L comment, thread it first and you won’t have any issues. Just don’t crank it down and use the impact as a torque wrench. Pretty simple, all mechanics do this lmfao
