I plan to go there next week. I am not sure if I would be taking a car though. I hope to see great views in walking distance.
The downtown section of Bainbridge is totally walkable from the ferry. There is also a beautiful waterfront you can walk around there too. There are buses on the island so you may be able to take them to Fort Ward or Grand Forest Park or Bloedel. It just depends on what you want to see :)
@@DianaBrandt if I want the best hiking place for at least 1-3 hrs of walk, where would you recommend? I would take a car if necessary.
The grand forest is a nice forest hike that is quite easy and relaxing. I believe in this video I was in Grand Forest West. I haven't been to Fort Ward yet but it looks like it's a nice size walk around with cool bunkers to check out like other Washington Fort parks. The waterfront has a small trail that I think would only be like a 15 minute stroll.

I check the Orca Network on twitter and facebook. It's Puget sound/Washington specific and boats and beach walkers update daily threads if they orcas. I hope that helps

i have good news and bad news the good news is the ture was nice the bad news is it was to short i am cooped in the house bored to death and looking for some adventure i like thriller movies with a bit of suspense and a little bit of comedy hear and there no blood n guts horror. just some mad scientist trying to take over the world
and the hero has a dull sense of humor for evil crazy person background scenes of spectacular scenery like half dome rock etc
Short of breath in such short walks.
Omg….we wanted to see Bainbridge, not watch you rattle on, not knowing how to pronounce “itinerary”, and taking pictures of yourself. We learned very little about Bainbridge. Thumbs down.
