Not sure why it came with the extra wiring harness. I just plugged mine right into the stock one and it worked just fine. 🤔

I thought my mori 3rd brake light the only one that doesn’t illuminate white lights when backing up. I guess it only lights up when you unlock/open the door.

I have bought a few blacked out (amazon) 3rd brakes over the years that turn yellowish after a year or so. How is yours looking after some use?
I ordered one.. came with wrong harness, wouldn’t even plug into the light.

Also , is it just me or does it look like there isnt much of a gasket? im sure your aware of the water leaking from the 3rd brake light on these trucks and its a necessity to have a good thick third brake gasket . Thanks for any info on this
Ya I never actually noticed it, the cab corners on the truck were starting to rust most likely from the Recon 3rd brake gasket being bad, then I switched to the Morimoto 3rd brake light. I sold the f150 so I can't verify the thickness on it now unfortunately.
I'm just upset, Morimoto still makes the XB series headlight and cargo/brake light for my 2014 Chevy Silverado. But has stopped production of their brand of XB tail light for my make and model. It doesn't make any sound business sense.
There is a new Silverado tail light coming out next month
Any issues with water leaking in the headliner ??
