Awesome and professional review. I particularly appreciated the consistent riff played in three styles for each setting. Very informative. That said, I definitely wanted to see this thing pushed to maximum grit. I'm assuming it's called "terror" for a reason. But other than that, great job.
A great review, Dan. I found your pleasant demeanor and positive enthusiasm enjoyable to watch. I must point out though that you left the Aston Martin in first gear. The Terror Bass, if you want grit, is made to be pushed. Rotate the gain control on right side of 12:00 and it’ll get aggressive. I personally like OD from pedals and usually run the amp in the clean mode, but for like what you said, a vintage classic rock tone, the TB has it available. I myself am a happy owner and appreciated your opinion.
Does the 12" cabinet move air? More so, stacking two to get that 500 watts at 4 ohms. I have two guitar players using JP and JCM Marshall's, thnk God only 50 watt heads. If they pull out the 100 watt Plexi then I would consider the two 15" cabs or just hire a moving company to utilize my 8x10" Ampeg
Hi Dude! How do you think it compares to the original Terror 500? Also have to say its so nice to see an amp demo'd using a mic rather than just relying on the DI - gives a much better impression of how the amp sounds "in the flesh" ; so many reviewers rely only on the DI output which I always find sounds "clinical"
I'm sure this amp lost weight during the review. 5kg at the start and 4Kg by the end. Interesting but regardless of weight I want one. Many thanks for the review.
@@davkdavk yeah I’m not too sure what they were thinking. But effectively they have only one cab that will take all 500w and that’s the 8-10 and it’s 4ohm everything else they have is 8ohm

This Amp also sounds fantastic doing a fat Mowtown sound...I was actually surprised....may be my next purchase.

I can hear it well on my tiny phone...am a little surprised at that
So it does have a 4 ohm 8 ohm switch. So it will do 500 into 8 ohm
250 at 8ohm
@@CapnCrnch330 I dont see why they switch it if it if halves the wattage as putting 8 ohms instead of 4 would effectively halve the wattage anyway
