Matt must've been really pissed using Dean Guitars during those years, that show in 2012 where he smashed it during Down From The SKy/Throes of Perdition (I forgot which of the 2) must've been the last straw. I never saw him use it since, even with the Shogun/Crusade songs
You clearly hear that Matt's voice is definitely tired when playing Pull Harder. Lot of energy and great show for sure but I'm not surprised that he completely changed how to scream in live performances in recent years.
It was mostly because he blew his voice out a lot like James, so he was kinda forced to change it, and I'm glad he did, that was possibly the worst thing he could've done for his voice before he changed it

At Fuel Fest Matt gave me a Trivium business card and that soon they would be looking for guitar players and e-mailed me 3 songs in tablature for the audition and i never made it there and a student at Full Sail from Maryland got the gig lol Good times! 🤘😛🤘
