- That is the first use of my Xiaomi 70mai Jump Start Battery.
The car is a Land Rover Discovery Tdi300, 2.5L Diesel.
It seems that you have to push that little button if you want it to actually jump start the car...
Anyway, the job is well done and I'm happy with it.

If the battery is completely flat, then you have to push the button but normally you will not have to
somebody buy a thing but too lazy to read the manual....

I did the same connections, and for the bike to start, I had to click the boost button. When the bike started, I kept it on for around 15 minutes. And then, when I removed the powerbank and tried to start without it, the bike doest start. Is the power bank faulty or the battery?
You should remove jump starter as soon as You start the car/bike. Don’t leave it on.
Your battery was not charged enough to restart. You'll need to drive around for a few kilometres to charge the battery up. Preferably in the day time.
And check your alternator. May be that's why your bike battery ran down in the first place. Or, that your battery is defective.

I have no idea why they put that junk lead acid battery in the car. I hate it. It's given up on me and damaged my vehicle trying to push it and costs a lot for someone to bring another fatass lead acid battery to jump it

Should be the black the black wire to be plug in the body pary of the car not to the -ve terminal of the battery to avoid ecu dmg?
Nope. Scotty Kilmer explained it in one of his videos. Since you only power up the battery after plugging both positive and negative, you don't need to plug the negative to the body of the car

Can it really jumo start diesel suv's? Im thinking of buying one. Hope someone can help me with the feed back. It will be much appreciated
Yes is very good I have one used on 1.2 liter petrol as well as on 3.2 liter diesel engine works perfectly.... I would recommend 18000Mah one which is more powerfull and perfect for diesel engines.

@@rahuldogra I have both. I keep 18000Mah(14k) one for Endy and 10000Mah(8k) one for i20. I keep both of them in car. If you have space crunch go for 8k one it can handle both i20 and thar(2.2 liter). If space is no issue then go for 18000Mah(14k) one, so if you go for offroading meets it will be useful for others too with bigger engines :).
@@satpritsinghsandhu I don't think anyone will buy a bigger car anytime soon . 😅 So will get the cheaper one .
Also I don't expect it work more than 6-8 years.
@@rahuldogra it will work for 10+ years, if you keep on using it as power bank also from time to time lets say every 6 months. You just need to drain the whole pack and recharge it again.

I have xiaomi 18000 mah One. Doesn't want to start 1.9dCi even when I pressed The boost button. It keeped to flickered Green and beeping...
Did you ever get it working? The 18000 mah model is supposed to be rated for diesel engines up to 3.5L. I'm looking for a jump starter for a Ford Everest/Endeavour 3.2L diesel.

Bought this unit but it had a very hard time starting my 2.2 Crdi engine. Not recommended for diesel.
U dont read the manual.. max 2.0L diesel..
