I’ve built a lot of fence. To keep your posts in a straight line stretch a string line. Mark, drill, and set one post at a time. If you mark and drill all your holes first then set posts you will be off and having to hand dig the side of the holes to correct. If your going for 96 inch spacing between posts drill holes at 90 inch center to center. That gives you 6 inches for error. Your auger will hit rocks and walk from time to time. Good luck!
This was a breathe of fresh air after a long work week. You two are so sweet. Never stop holding hands out in public. Didn’t vote because ultimately it’s your life, but so glad you chose the fence. The dogs will appreciate and you get outside for a while. The “picture” concept looks amazing. Cant wait to see your results
