Barry Radburn I have been a touch quiet, yes! I also wanted to start putting things up which included the end result and that means waiting for drying time... It's like watching paint dry 😂 I'm pleased to hear you're still enjoying the pots. Lots around the house now? 😉
I have done some in green and gold (Aussie colours) and made a stencil of a kangaroo which I spray on the pot with flat black enamel. They are different. 😊
You might not answer, your newest videos are a year old, but I had to ask....where do you get those pots? I can't find the shape anywhere. I love them and how you paint them!
Hi and thank you :) I get notified of messages so tend to respond relatively quickly. There have been a few things out of my control which have stopped me from painting for a while. I pick up the pots from a local hardware store. If you're in Australia, Bunnings hardware. I'm pretty sure they'd have them at all their sites. Good luck with your painting.
Hi Miss Kalena... How are you doing? I couldn't help but imagine various types of plants in these pots. Whichever ones get lucky enough to be potted will look amazing. I didn't know you could mix pva and floetral together. Good to know. Usually I just see people adding water to pva. Now that you mentioned Tequila Sunsrise it's on my mind. I cant even remember when I last had one but it sure sounds good.😘
Preciosa Flower hello lovely 🙂 my favourite in these pots is a nice simple succulent, they don't distract too much from the beauty of the pots with flowers or too much leafy plant. I have quite a few planted including a display on my front porch, I'll have to include them in a future video. I've mixed both floetrol and pva since beginning pour art, with the pots it's particularly useful as they both act as a sealer of sorts. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
Cathy Groeger I use a terracotta pot and ornament sealer on the internal. To date I've had no problems with paint peeling off, also the pva and floetrol help on the external. Don't get the sealer on the outside though as it impacts on how the paint sticks to the pour by acting as a sort of lacquer so allows the paint to slide off rather than absorb and maintain the pattern.
I've been trying to replace the sound on the clip, unfortunately UA-cam blocked the clip because of the music I had on there, it was from a non copyright source however it seemed to cause trouble. Sorry about the green font. It's always a struggle finding legible colours.
I haven't seen you for a while, you have got me hooked on terracotta pots now. Love these two. 😊

How do you prep the pot so that watering the plant doesn't cause the paint to peel off?

And I have a hard time reading in that green print
Why not sound?

Why have a video with no voice. Stop wasting peoples time
