Salou Travel Day June 2022 | PortAventura | H10 Salauris Palace Buffet

In this week's video we return to the wonderful #Salou in Costa Dorada, Spain.
We travel from Manchester to Reus airport. We had heard how bad it had been lately at Manchester Airport so we gave ourselves 3 hours which helped with getting through security and allowing us to get some breakfast and relax at The Bridgewater Exchange.
We arrived at Reus airport and got through customs/security with ease. Waiting for our luggage took about 25 mins and made us a little nervous that our bags weren't on the flight with us as the room cleared out but thankfully they made it!
We got a taxi from Reus to the hotel for 30 Euros and it was really quick and convenient. Arriving at H10 Salauris Palace was amazing, we adore this hotel so much! This time we opted for the standard room as we were only here for 5 days. We were impressed with the room and balcony and were even upgraded to a pool view for free which we really appreciated!

We then walked down to #PortAventura and took in the sights and sounds. We love the atmosphere in this park. Had a few mishaps with the rides we were waiting for so just decided to have a day of exploring, getting the feels and our first yardo of Estrella and Caruso of the holiday.
We then head back to the hotel to relax for a little bit before heading down to the buffet. Decided to take the camera down this night to show what kind of food you can expect at the hotel.
We met lots of lovely people on this trip who had seen our previous series and it honestly meant a lot to us for you to come over and say hi and let us know. It was amazing to hear our videos could help with your holidays so thank you it was a wonderful feeling!
In next week's vlog we are going to explore Salou properly this time so tune in next Sunday @ 6:30pm UK time for the next video!

What a nice travel day! It is always a pleasant surprise getting a room upgrade. It is okay to go into a park and just enjoy some food and drinks. We have done that from time to time. Congrats on getting a bunch of views on this vlog.

It’s a wonder we didn’t fall off the plane 😂 no never on site so far we’ve liked Salauris cos it’s like the best of both worlds but maybe next time could have an overnight stay there or something cos that sounds awesome! Hope you’re having a great week so far 💙✨

Firstly how did you find airport queues guys? I know het2 hasn’t been affected unlike the others hoping you didn’t have to wait long for check in - security, something we worry about for 3 weeks time when we go away.
Haha Dane them crisps do you get it when you open and something smacks you in the face or spills on you, always happens with them orange juices you get with plane meals 😂.
We’re envious of you flying with Jet2 from Manchester we did it once and it was the best flight we’ve had coz you lot are all so friendly 😀🙌🏼.
Grab yourself AirTags each guys for your luggage you can track (if you have I phones if not something similar) peace of mind knowing your case has made it even if it’s last of like yours always fill you with dread doesn’t it 😅.
😱 why did that ride fall backwards WTF? Erm like that sky high one you did no way I’d go on Ferrari one now after seeing that 😟.

We waited about an hour to get through security but thankfully got there 3 hours early so it was ok! We were a bit delayed and sat in the plane for about 40 mins but not too bad compared to some horror stories we heard!
The AirTags is a great shout I’ve been having a look at getting them cos it is so nerve wracking waiting ahha
Apparently it’s called s rollback and happens depending on the weather haha thankfully didn’t happen to us!
It was such a lovely feeling, I remember seeing it on your vlogs too it is a great feeling but so bizarre haha

Aww yeah we’re doing 2 days Disney, 2 Days Universal, 1 Day Six flags magic mountain, then some shopping, Hollywood walk of fame, Santa Monica pier, Venice beach and Hollywood hill hike observatory and Palm Springs 🤓 although palm spring will be 46°C and we want to hike! 🥵 we’ll see about that one lol. We’re away for 10 nights and we can’t sleep been like kids at Xmas Eve you guys must be the same for September right?
Yeah we’re knackered did 10 mile walk while car was in garage and had a nap at 3pm for 1.5hiurs as been awake since 4am rough nite with the heat last night 🥵.

Hey Guys! Oh fantastic your back, we do love Salou and PA! Its such a great holiday. Seems like you were just there! The hotel you always stay at looks nice. Weve stayed at PA hotel both times weve visited as you get the park tickets included, but I must say the last time we spent a lot of evenings down in Salou as we do like it. We love a good old yard of Estrella too, and I love the fact you can just walk about with them - so laid back. I wish they were more laid back though with other things like sunglasses in the pool and sun tops. We werent allowed to wear sunglasses in the pool and waterpark, steve had to remove his tshirt as well. We were constantly getting whistled at lol.
It’s such a great place to visit isn’t it? We are already thinking of going back next year haha yesss it’s brill that you can just walk about with your drink. Can’t believe they had an issue with a tee and sunglasses in the pool, both sound perfectly reasonable! I had sunglasses in in our pool the sun doesn’t stop just cos you’re in the pool haha madness!!!
@@RipRideVlogIt glad to hear it's not like that at other hotels and just PA ones and their waterpark. Yeah they're really quite over the top with some things. I refused to remove mine and said they were prescription and in the end I had to buy a PA sunglasses neck strap thing and only then was I allowed in the pool. I still got whistled at in the pool everyday if they did not notice the sunglasses strap lol. We went to Magic Natura in Benidorm and had similar experience. You and dane would like it there and it's closed to terra mitica TP. Can't wait to see the rest of ur vlog x

What’s the best hotel to stay in. In salou please
Laura has stayed at Calypso, Marinada, Villaroma, Golden Avenida and H10 Salauris and she prefers H10 because its close to PortAventura and the rooms are decent. May not be the best in Salou though, depends what you're after :)
