I just want to say i’m so glad you love Salou just as much as I do. It was a blast seeing you go through the areas i’ve been going to for 15+ years, fond memories of loved ones and family holidays. ❤❤ nearly screamed when I saw you were going. Cambrils is beautiful, lovely little shops. Salou is great for the night plenty to do strolling, that little beach you went to is my favourite although I got stung by a jellyfish so I always used to check the sand before going in 😂😂
We stayed at the H10 Madison in Barcelona and were impressed with the hotel and the location in the heart of the Gothic area was amazing. We had a modern relatively spacious room, a great breakfast, super service, and a very scenic rooftop bar/restaurant. We thought the cost/benefit was so good we are taking a chance on H10 in Rome pre-Cruise in December.
We absolutely love Salou! Brilliant vlog as always, it made us feel like we were there ❤ Great tip for anyone visiting port aventura, you can usually get a discount on tickets by buying the sweets packets in the supermarkets so worth knowing about
Needed to do a deep clean of my house (yawn) this morning and actually said "yay!" when I saw this video pop up - you kept me company through some of a boring task. Looks like you both had such a good time, and the buffet actually looks better than some of the cruise ones, on camera anyway! Looking forward to part 2 x
Salou looks great! We have always wanted to go to the Portaventura theme park it looks great fun... though the ferrari coaster looked extreme... think im with Matthew! The boat ride was right up my street i love a boat ride! ... nothing else to add lol 😅
You definitely work hard for me. You must have read my mind as my family, and possibly me are planning on going to Spanish Grand Prix next year and staying in Salou👍 Thanks for narrowing the choice of hotels down 🤣🤣 Fab vlog as usual

Hi Jamie, big fan of your blogs. May i ask why did you change to a different hotel half way through your Salou holiday???? Reason for asking is the first hotel you stayed in looked great and you were both having a great time there and it wasn't very far from the theme parks you were wanting to go to so im a bit at a loss why you booked 2 hotels instead of the one. Was it because you wanted to experience a hotel within the theme park or wanted to be closer, or was there a different motive. I would love to know your decision for choosing 2 hotels. Thanks very much Chris.
Because we like variety, because I like showing people what’s on offer in my vlogs and as I said in the vlog, the middle section was a package which included 3 days of theme park tickets and a day at Ferrari world: it was cheaper getting the hotel / park ticket package than buying multi theme park tickets

Im looking at a holiday to Salou around September time and im looking at doing a 3 day pass for the theme park and the rest of the the holiday just chilling out and exploring the sites of Salou. The hardest bit is choosing whether to go with a package holiday with jet2 or Tui or book everything separate. Also i cant decide on the length of stay as im split with doing a week or 10 days. Im sure ill make up my mind and choose what feels right for me. Hope your enjoying you cruise onboard Queen Mary 2, and looking forward to seeing the next part of your vlog.

After 11 it was fine for us - couldn’t hear noise from road. It’ll depend what time hotel entertainment goes on until though
