I lived in GE when I was a kid from 72 to 78.
I went to St Petronille for five years then Churchill ES for one before my dad got transferred back to NY.
GE was simply the greatest place on earth to be a kid!

I live here, and I’m a teen. There’s not many things for us kids/teens to do, but the downtown area has some good places (Jans bistro, Javis Burritos and Main Street Pub)

I’m sorry to hear that.
When I was a kid lived there and it was THE greatest place on earth to grow up!
The July 4th parade, the Glenbard West Homecoming parade and bonfire, the little league opening day parade, Halloween when you could trick or treat all day and night, and those amazing mid west winters where we’d spend all day sledding down the hill at Glenbard West!

Glenbard south, the building was designed by a prison architect. Very gloomy and depressing.
