- The Placer County Board of Education plans to sell the schools to Newcastle School District to alleviate crowded schools and traffic concerns.
They should not be allowed to do that!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry you guys I also agree that these children have a happy place and this is where they belong.
As I quote Dr. Bryan Schaffer-Superintendent of the Kern High School District "No campus should be sold without extensive deliberations, and preparation for the displaced students" I am fervently displeased by the seemingly careless approach the county board of education here took.

Because they don’t care. They don’t care the kids will be scattered and mistreated at another school. Also be away from special needs kids they know. I can only imagine the emotional issues this will cause them.
They said preparations were made.
It is not ok to sell these schools they can be a lifeline for some families
So sad 😢. My daughter is severely disabled and having 3 other children and being single & watching my daughter being tossed aside, starving, self harming, not learning any form of communication, I had to make a very torturous decision to have to live in a facility for severely disabled children where she attends a special needs school. I hope by next yr she'll be closer to home. This breaks my heart and infuriates me!

The care is important because you have a child with special needs. I have a long history of disabilities myself.
We as disabled children and adults don't get much and the government thinks we deserve nothing. It's always a big struggle trying new things.
You would think everyone gets treated equally
But.................
I've got news for you that's not the way things work. The government has put all disabled people in a card board box floating down the river to hell.

@@GoldRangerFanGirl35 No. Epilepsy is a disorder which causes seizures, and usually on a regular basis. It's different from seizures happening in isolation and no one involved in a person's care having been aware of it before.
What in the world is happening even though I have special needs and I’m 17 years old but I’m short and I go to Westminster high school but it’s not closing it’s still open which yeah it’s Covid still and I’m doing online school this year which is pretty fun but I do want to go back to school this year because I want to see my friends.

Fifty three is kind of a small number of students for a school campus. That's barely enough for seven special education classrooms.
Let's at least hope one of the schools become something like a Walmart
Why... these schools are perfect...these kids are better off in these schools instead b.s ing the whole world with integration nonsense.
Actually, being integrated with non disabled students does benefit most disabled students and it also benefits non disabled students too.
The only school of the Placer district that should have been sold was Placer Elementary
Its all about the money. Childrens needs always on the back burner.
