Thank you for an informative video with good camera angles so I can actually see what you're cutting. I have watched many videos and people go too fast.
Creative Grids should hire you to demonstrate their trim tool! I have watched Jean Ann's demonstration multiple times and I agree with other comments here that she goes way too fast! Because of your demo I have now ordered the tool as I feel confident because of your demo that I understand how the tool will allow me to make the perfect pineapple block without that four letter word M-A-T-H ! Thank-you!
LOL - I was so excited to make a "foolproof" block, that I did NOT do it correctly, had gone ooo fast without thinking. READ the ruler - it's all there! I remade it the second time, reading the ruler at the steps, and it's just perfect.
Excellent demo! You did a great job - I have the ruler and I'm eager to get my project started! Regarding that quilt in the background, I am thinking it looks slightly elongated by the computer visual issues. Surely it is not pointy, but I sure LOVE it.
Saw the Video by Jean Ann Wright (the creator of Ruler) and she went thru it Too fast for catching on. But you did a good job of explaining everything thoroughly. Ty. What is the pattern called in the back of you using the Pineapple Blocks, Please?? It's not the norm in putting the blocks together....
Grany Quilter Thanks for the feedback. The quilt shown in this video was just one the instructor, Kim, created by alternating the light and dark colored fabric. Is this the quilt that you are referencing or is it one of the finished ones in the opening title or end credits?

infraredthomas The one she was demonstrating to make...She did a Good job telling how to use the Ruler!
infraredthomas Yes, this is the one that shows up after 45sec of the video. So Kim has No instructions to give us RE where to put light/darks?
I think it was all about alternating the layers - between light and dark. The pattern itself was established/developed by using the grid.
infraredthomas Yes u r right! That's exactly what it is, now just to get hopping, oops, cutting and all will be fine....lol
I like that tool thank you.
Phyllis Chambliss It looked pretty easy and straightforward for using. Thanks for watching.
