Unnie is more and more positively 'crazy' with every new video! If only we can advance in positive changes in our Korean as fast! ^ ^ Fun is becoming ultra fun and easy ultra easy! Limits?
How do we know when to use the dictionary form or conjugate it into a specific tense when using an adjective in the second way? Ex: When to use 작다 vs 작아요. Maybe I'm overthinking...
@@rheannonf4347 I've got an answer! The dictionary form is typically used for generalized audiences such as newspapers, reports, textbooks. Dictionary form can also be used for personal entries such as notes and diary entries. Good luck with your studies!
작은 코위 -> Short Kowie I’ve learned to call myself short in korean 😂 my friends are the type of people to learn this in korean just to poke fun at my height 😂
I love you so much!! Thank you so much for helping and making it easy to learn. I also love how you broke things into smaller sizes so it’s easier for us to understand.
언니, I couldn't understand a thing about this from the website I'm using to learn (and I spent quite some time trying to figure it out), so I remembered you and you explained it all in under 10 minutes. 감사합니디!
I LOVE YOU SHOOOO MUCH UNNIE!!!! You made Korean so much easier for me. LOT and LOTS of Love from a new Pakistani DONGDONG. (you may not even see this but I still love you!! keep up making Korean easy for us!!❤️❤️❤️)
English has verbs used as adjectives, like , "the running man was stopped". (That's actually two!). It's a familiar concept. But English has adjectives that aren't verbs too.
"you guys"??? you clearly are a native speaker of english, Miss Unnie! don't deny it...your english is perfect. i should know after living and teaching in korea for 10 years and talking to thousands of people....puh-leeeeaaassseeee..!! you grew up in Los Angeles right?
if a adjective preceding nouns, the adj. could be said as an attributive one(acting attributively) if following nouns, like "someone is pretty", pretty is a predicate, or acting predicatively
Yes beautiful confident Korean unnie TEACH ME YOUR WAYS OH SMARTTTT ONE btw I love you and you make things so much easier ughhhhhh I love you thank you so much
hey korean unnie. you help me a lot but i am not allowed to do anything here. my parents, grandparents and my brother are against me learning korean. Your help will never be forgotten by me. You and BTS have changed my life. But i am still small. i am 13 years old. BUT........................ saranghe.........
im from pakistan now i jump into 18 soo i love korean since i was kid soo i want to learn korean language soo from now i following you korean UnnIE i hope You help me. stay blessed.and you are cute and good teacher.
Nice explanation! I didn't know about adjective-(으)ㄴ form so it helped a lot! I just think you should have mentioned that if we are using the adjective after the noun (conjugating it as a verb) it needs the particle 이 or 가. But I guess everyone here already knows that, right? :P
I would like to thank you for your lesson to us. It really helped me a lot 💜. Also, I have a request. Can you do the degrees of comparison in Korean? Because I'm trying to say 'I'm your biggest fan' in korean but i don't know how to say "Biggest". Hopefully you understand. 💜
*unnie play with hair a couple times*
Me: Such a queen
She's feelin' herself
Min Ha yes she is STAY
she knows how to "get a rise" out of her male audience, i'll tell you that....i'm having some libidinous thoughts watching her....
B. Alvn oooOoOoOOo
ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
I wondered what you were thinking when you said "small" then laughed.

(☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞
What???
Unnie loves to fangirl over K-pop idols during her vids
Same here
"Adjectives are describing verbs! " -Olly 😂
Korean Unnie you should really collab with JOLLY!
Wonder how that'd go lmao
Unnie: "작은 means small"
Me: "작은 지민" (Jak-eun Jimin)
i can't have been the only one who thought this XD
Small jimin ?😂
너 모든 너무 재미있어요 = You all are so funny.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Haha, I wrote this instead of the example she gave us xD
Even I thought the same.
What a coincidence.
You may not see my comment but I Love you Unnie and I love your videos you have helped me to improve on my Korean speaking 💜😭😊😃

AHAH XD
😂😂😂😂
WE LOVE AN ADJECTIVE QUEEN
Wow! I'm amazed how easy you make it sound!
Congrats and thanks!
4:30 DID U REMEMBER JIMIN?!?😂😂😂
This reminded me of : 작은 지민씨! 😂💜 *Little Jimin*
watched 3 of her videos, now i think that she looks like a sister of rose from blackpink
English: you should remember and learn is, am, are.
Korean: we don't do that here😅
You’re such a queen!!
unnie your such a good teacher I'm getting more better in my Korean even my friend thinks I'm fluent in Korean
How do we know when to use the dictionary form or conjugate it into a specific tense when using an adjective in the second way? Ex: When to use 작다 vs 작아요. Maybe I'm overthinking...
This is my question also!
I think maybe the dictionary form is more formal? Like you use 입니다 sometimes instead of 예요. But it's just a guess I really have no idea.
@@rheannonf4347 I've got an answer! The dictionary form is typically used for generalized audiences such as newspapers, reports, textbooks. Dictionary form can also be used for personal entries such as notes and diary entries. Good luck with your studies!
@@Eliana-fw7ys Please read my reply below! There is a difference. ~ㅂ니다 is honorific, formal
Dictionary verbs must end in 다
Examples:
이다
행복하다
싸다
비싸다

Really useful!! It`s been a long time since I was wondering how adjectives work. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️
Adjective before noun just conjugate the adjective and add -ㄴ or -은
Noun then adjective just use the dictionary form
저요 맞아 한국 언니?
Thank you so much! This was very helpful.
I like your style. Many thanks for the lessons!
