    The lemon tip, makes it look easier. I am going to try it like that. Thanks for sharing

    Thanks for such clear explanation, I will definitely try it out once the weather allows me to skate, currently we have snow everywhere 😁

    I will try it too. And what a nice video - lots of visual demonstrations, not just talking!

    I've never been able to do them, even after years of trying. I think I lack the leg/knee strength to skate in that 'sitting' position, but the half-lemons tip is really good so I'll give it another go.

    I've seen in another video a tip to keep your weight on the non-sliding foot? I assume that is also the case here?
    I've been trying and I have been saying it feels impossible! I have a million excuses though, my wheels are too new, the ground is too rough, I'm going too slow, my legs are too short, I am too weak, I am too light, I am too old, I will break my knee, I will break my hip and so on ... But I will keep trying! The first technique you showed looks easier, but the second one is easy to remember: "first squat then pee" ...

    Nice tutorial. Lemon tip looks like a great progression since I find getting low enough and having the right angle to engage the slide the most challenging. Gotta train those glutes and quads.

    How big are the wheels?
    I think it’s easier with smaller wheels.

    • @rullikutt
      @rullikutt  10 місяців тому

      Its easier with smaller wheels Yes. Bigger wheels mean smaller angle and is harder. Mine are 90mm wheels.
