Thank you! I had the car lower at first, but it was too much. And for the side skirts check out: extremeonlinestore.com. They have great products and prices on factory looking painted exterior items - and carbon fiber.
Hey there - thanks for the post. I have a 16' Z51 C7 (nite race blue, grey interior, 3LT). I've been pondering lower to the max on the stock bolts. This is the first time i've heard of concerns on tire wear - good to know. Is it difficult to get the camber done correctly if I lower to the max? Also, i was considering wheel spacers (nothing crazy) to bump the wheels out slightly. Not sure, sounds like a camber adjustment could be sufficient.
Hi! Sounds like a nice ride! And yes, a simple front and rear camber adjustment from a local shop will suffice, but it never hurts to have them check the alignment while up there too. Good luck!
i traded in my 18 grand sport last year 4 an 19 z06...love this car sebring orange tintcoat/manuel...so much nicer than the automatic in the gr. sport.i had that black gr. sport 4 aprox. 2.5 years shortly after i bought it i lowwerd it all the way down on stok bolts as much as possible...no tire issues...u might have that complicated alignment adjustment issue?????
I love the Sebring Orange color. Great choice! And as too the alignment, that was not bad from what the shop said, just the camber was out quite a lot! Fixed now though.
Hello I want to lower my z51 c7 with mag ride to get rid of 4×4 look but don't wanna slam it. If I lower all the way how many turns clockwise would be everyday friendly like your height? love your z06 btw not to low or high👌
Thanks! For the bolts, it seemed about that a 1 full revolution (turn) was around an 1/8 of an inch, so just expect around 4-5 full revolutions as a half inch. But it may vary a bit, so just take your time, and make sure to correctly measure before starting -- plus drive the vehicle to settle it each time you plan to measure. Overall, I lowered 1.5" in the front and 1" in the back (Which is shown in the video of pre-and post measurements)
The wear on that looks like wear from toe out of adjustment rather than camber. Just my .02. If you didn’t get toe checked, probably be replacing ties again soon. Car looks good though.
Thanks!! And the car drove extremely straight, and it was even wear on both tires. So not as much of an alignment issue as to camber.. But Yes, after the height re-adjustment in the video, it was taken to have full front and rear camber and the alignment set up. So 100% good now!
Love the way you didn’t slam the car.. very nice. I’m scared to lower my z06. Those sideskirts and front splitter are to expensive lol

@@adamrileycarchannel I think yours turned out perfect. The back is what needs to come down on mine it seems.
I had a question, are you a z07 package? I heard it’s different from just a normal z06 vs a z07.
Hi no, just a Z06. And to my knowledge a good indicator is having Carbon brake disk rotors.
How did you end up fixing the camber ? Did you got to a shop
Yes. Just took to a friends shop and they set it up -- along with new front tires purchase.
@@adamrileycarchannel nice thank you 🙏 car looks good ,,,,

@@adamrileycarchanneldid you need an aftermarket camber kit to fix it?
@@mrjjthor No, I just took it for alignment of the caster/camber and toe after I shot the video. So far everything has been looking good!
Can you do mine too!?!?! I'm in california
LOL! I guess if you pay for my travels and expenses.... sure. HAHAHAAH. :D

Hey is that a z06 or grandsport?
Hi, it's a Z06.
