I had a similar journey, made beats for awhile in FL 3 (hella long ago lol) and then switched to the 2000XL, never looked back. For me it is the workflow and tactile buttons, love it.
Dude ..... I'm not even finished the full video yet but THANK YOU FOR THAT BREAK PROCESSING TIP! I've been fucking around with all sorts of different hardware pre and post MPC ONE in my chain trying to get things that grimey and lo and behold the answer is right inside the One itself. Excellent technique. I can't wait to try this out. Between this video, your any key video and the Pete Rock style swing one, I think you've become my favourite beat making UA-camr in 3 videos. Let me know if there's some way of further supporting the channel / your output I may have missed!

I was hoping someone would actually do that (follow along with the records) I have only used MPC 3.0 for one day so far (while I was making this video) I had a few instances of cussing my MPC out lol... but overall, I think it is really good. I imagine in a week I won't really remember 2.5. I backed up all my sessions, but everything I have loaded has been fine. Looking forward to diving in deeper. I made the decision to upgrade since I make tutorial stuff, and now that it is out of beta, the vast majority will be using it.

I love the MPC, I started on FL studio but once I got my second Mpc, I haven’t used FL since, the sound quality really hits different.
