Timely servicing is more important thing, in old days the running -in period was very much essential. Now,the company has made advancement in technology. Many people buy vehicles without knowing the true purpose of what they need.We need to invest on quality gears and improve our riding skills.We are getting the machine far more advanced,we need to put work on ourselves.We are after validating our purchase from others' point of view.I use rev-matching, engine breaking,counter -steering, and progressive braking on my daily commute of 130 km (both), besides, I keep patience and be considerate of others.I do practice once an emergency braking out on highway after checking the road is empty one,so that my muscle memory will be developed. Very well explained bery well said.I have meteor 350 Supernova blue..The bike (the machine) is awesome but the main problem with Royal Enfield nowadays is their service centres.Most of the service centre take huge no of bikes on a day and they can't handle this.
Just wanted to appreciate you for covering that topic so well. Also, do you think it would be cool if Royal Enfield set up a process to educate new customers on the break-in period and the precautions to take? It would be super helpful, don’t you think?

I bought a meteor 350 in July 2024 and the bike has an engine mil light issue since Day 1 and I have been riding on the city roads such are mostly flat not I have installed any third party accessories. Even after multiple visits to the service centre and complaints to RE, the issue still persists.
Any new vehicle it may be needs stable phase.. so all spares rub against parts and becomes smooth when ridden slowly and also morning accelerating hard is a problem because oil settles to bottom and there will be friction which damages parts which all leads to problem in vehicles.. I do have vintage bikes.. which i kick up and start till today for smooth performance and durability
you are true but company charge too much. for just oil change they charge 800 to 900 INR which was very easy to change the oil. company ka lootne ka tareeka hain. thats why we go outside market and do by self. think about that oil change charges at the price of 2.5 litre oil cost. if we do not then warrany laps. if they charge geniunly then we deffinitely go at showroom of RE ALWAYS like 100 to 250 between is worth.

I have a meteor 350, Break In rule has been followed. After a recent ride of 400 km I noticed that there is a slight oily leak from the engine, it was not dropping drop by drop but I could see that some dust particles are attached to the right side of the engine (circular disc portion). What could be the reason for this ?

Yae tappet adjustment wala scene bekaar hae ekdaam.. Activa mae 5 saal mae bhi yae karna nahi parta... Bekaar mae naya engine khulwana parta hae tappet noise ki wajah sae... Upaar sae kaam bhi thik sae nahi hota.
