Complaining about charity shop prices and then buying a football shirt for £7.50 and then trying to flip it for £30 is honestly the best kind of comedy timing. Lol.
You mean those shops who get their stock for literally nothing, pay less rent than other businesses thanks to government subsidies, who are run by mostly unpaid volunteers, who get large tax concessions, who price their items so far above retail that they regularly have to stop accepting donations as they have failed to move the stock they already have?
And if you think the money they make actually finds it’s way to the places and people it should, then you’re out of your mind.
Charity shops deserve all the criticism they are getting, their greed and mismanagement has brought it upon themselves.

They kind of lose the point of buying from charity shops when the games in question are more overpriced than in CEX. I mean the point of charity shops is to get second hand unwanted items for cheap as they already got em for free via donations and earn some money for the cause while providing people access to items that are usually way higher to buy in other place.
These days they seems to operate more like a buisness and want to reep the extra profits for their own pockets rathern than help the cause they are suppose to represent.
If i were them i would look up the cex prices and charge the games higher than how much you would get return via cash or voucher but still cheaper than if you were to buy them at CEX. This will satisfy people who want to collect the games to actually play but at a cheaper cause and keep away the resellers at bay.
Their operating models are a mess. From each pound, pennies are made for the charity cause. The wages in the charities are phenomenal, with no downward adjustment for the sake of 'the cause'. A HR manager at Bernardos gets paid the same as Sony.
That was black ops 2 currently 10 in cex and is only rising it seems on the 360.

Depending on the charity shop and what foundation they work for some shops, I can accept the higher price like cancer air ambulance because they are needed because the government won't. People who hate prices in cancer charity shops I do hope they don't get cancer because its them charities that help more than governments. Resellers are the worst for crying about prices.

I had a very good experience with a charity shop the other day and got 5 games for £5 , Forza Horizon 4, For Honor, WWE 18, Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (black ops 3 didnt work)
I see your point about not going into charity shops or car boots anymore because I sometimes flip but not on your scale, but silly question do you think we are the problem along with the countless others doing it on UA-cam and charity shops have just got wise to it. But great show keep it up!
